Nicole Scherzinger Won't Invite Pussycat Dolls To Dream Wedding Due To 'Toxic Energy'

Although Nicole Scherzinger was the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls for almost a decade, she will not be inviting her bandmates to her upcoming marriage to former rugby player Thom Evans.
During the band's active years, Scherzinger's lead role seemed to have triggered conflicts, eventually contributing to the group's dissolution in 2009.
Nevertheless, they had a reunion in 2019, indicating things may be peaceful, but the R&B star is suggesting otherwise based on reasons cited for her exclusion of the females from her wedding.
Nicole Scherzinger Bans The Pussycat Dolls From Her Wedding Guest List
Scherzinger is counting down till the day she walks down the aisle to her soulmate but is also busy with preparations for the ceremony, expected to be graced by celebrity guests.
Unfortunately, her five former bandmates are excluded from the guest list, as confirmed by a source to The Heat. The informant divulged:
"Nicole doesn't want to invite one and not another, only for those missing out to start causing trouble. There's so much toxic energy from that part of her life; she doesn't want to bring any of it into her dream wedding."
Despite her decision, her fiancé remained "very supportive and happy for her to take the lead on the planning." He has also reportedly witnessed the heartache and "public attacks" his partner experienced while in the band.
Members of the Pussycat Dolls never got over Scherzinger's lead position during their active years, and even though they split and got back together, the union did not last. Two years after reuniting in 2019, Robin Antin, the group's creator, sued the 45-year-old for breach of contract after she refused to participate in a reunion tour because she supposedly wanted to be paid more than her bandmates.
An insider recently stressed that since there was "still so much bad blood there," it would be "reckless" to risk any of Scherzinger's former bandmates' attendance at her wedding. The source added, "Nicole feels unfairly painted as the villain just because she was the better singer of the group, and she doesn't have time for that pettiness anymore."
Besides, the last thing the "Poison" songstress would want, according to the informant, was for someone like Melody Thornton, one of the Pussycat Dolls alum, to gate-crash her happy day "with a mic, trying to out-warble her again and steal her thunder."
Although no date has been released for Scherzinger's wedding, her engagement still excites fans worldwide as it made headlines toward the end of June when she announced it via an Instagram carousel captioned, "I said yes."
She looked over the moon in the uploaded pictures which saw her man down on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage. The lovebirds rocked matching blue-and-cream-themed attires, with the "Right There" vocalist dressed in a flowing patterned dress and a cream beach hat while her beau wore a blue shirt and cream shorts.
Numerous fans flocked to the comments section to celebrate the terrific news, including celebs like Naomi Campbell, Rebel Wilson, designer Julien Macdonald, and even a Pussycat Dolls alum, Kimberly Wyatt. One commenter expressed delight for the soon-to-be-married couple, adding that they deserved to be together forever. Similarly, another wrote, "I'm so happy for you! Congratulations to you both!!!"
A third follower gushed, "Cheeeeehuuuuuuuu. Congratulations. – all my aloha," whereas a fourth user raved, "Congratulations, beautiful!!!!!!!!!! Next level excited for you both!!!!"
The Former "Australia's Got Talent" Judge Slammed Robin Antin With A Countersuit For Embezzlement
About a year after being sued by the Pussycat Dolls creator, Antin, who accused Scherzinger of extortion, the Grammy nominee countersued. She asserted that her ex-boss embezzled funds meant for the group's reunion tour and gave some to people barely involved in the tour preparations.
According to the documents: "Antin's self-dealing included extorting $30,000 in 'fees,' which she was contractually prohibited from taking." Her misappropriate spending also included "paying another entertainer, Pia Mia, more than $100,000" to be the band's lead singer. Unfortunately, Pia Mia ended up providing zero benefits to the project.
Antin eventually realized this, prompting her to approach Scherzinger again. The 2010 "DWTS" winner then demanded $1.1 million in damages, alleging that she sacrificed other jobs worth at least $1 million to join the Pussycat Dolls tour.
