On Tuesday night, the "Hold Me Closer" singer uploaded two different videos that featured her announcing the release of her new memoir, "The Woman In Me," although she doesn't mention the title or release date in either of the videos.
In the first video, Britney says, “Okay, guys. So I just got finished with my book. It’s coming out very soon. I worked my a** off for this book. I had a lot of therapy to get this book done, so you guys better had better liked it. And if you don’t, that’s fine too.”
She then slipped on sunglasses and began singing the lyrics to The Beach Boys’ hit song “Kokomo,” saying, “Aruba, Jamaica, ooh, I wanna take ya. Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama. I’m out of here. So, bye guys. Hope you like the book.”

In the second video, Britney is standing a little bit further away from the camera as she stands in the middle of her living room wearing a long-sleeve crop top with a floral print, a khaki skirt, and brown boots.
“OK guys, so my book is coming out very, very soon. I worked my ass off for this book, I had a lot of therapy to get this book done, so you guys better had better like it. And if you don’t like it, that’s fine too. Either way, I’m going to Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama…” As she sings, she runs off camera to grab her sunglasses and then runs back into the frame.
Britney seems to start getting really into it, saying, “Koko Koko” really quickly before a man cuts her off, telling her, “Too much. Too much. Too much.”

On Tuesday afternoon, the "Toxic" singer posted a video teaser for her new memoir. She deleted it, then reuploaded it to Instagram, and pinned it to the top of her page.
The 15-second clip features the words, “It’s coming… My story. On My Terms. At last. Are you ready?” The video then cuts to a photo of Britney topless on the cover showing the title of her memoir, “The Woman In Me” and the release date, October 24, 2023.
She also posted the announcement to Twitter and the new social media platform, Threads, which the pop star joined just last week.
