With celebrities expressing concern about using the FDA-approved diabetes drug for weight loss purposes, the acclaimed actress offers her insights on this controversial practice. Her perspective on this medication holds significance as an influential figure in the entertainment industry, who is also susceptible to the illness.

Raven-Symoné Speaks Out On The Use of Ozempic 

Joining the conversation surrounding Hollywood's latest weight loss trend, the "That's So Raven" alum disclosed her connection to diabetes, with a family history of pre-diabetes and diabetes. Speaking with E! News, Francesca Amiker, the 37-year-old, emphasized:

"If I'm not careful with my intake with types of foods, I am more susceptible to getting diabetes. So, I think it's very important we understand certain medications are made for certain people—and to not take that away just for glamazon purposes."

In light of the reported shortage of Ozempic last August, caused by a surge in demand, the singer spoke out, urging individuals to prioritize the medication for those who genuinely require it. She stated, "Do what you gotta do; just make sure you save the medication for the people who need it."

Additionally, the five-time NAACP Image Awards winner shared a powerful mantra centered on self-acceptance and self-love. She encouraged individuals to embrace their worth and shared her words of affirmation, "'I'm the greatest of all time. I'm the best.'"

The three-time Young Artist Awards winner reflected on the transformative power of self-confidence, which has played a vital role in her life. The former child actress explained that self-confidence is not easily attained but rather a mentality that requires nurturing from oneself and parents. The "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" star stated:

"And if you don't have that self-confidence, it will crumble other parts of your life. It will fester like a really bad blister. It's hard to maintain it and hard to grow it as an adult, but I think anything is possible if you really set your mind to it."

While she is doing a great job of inspiring her fans concerning taking care of one's mental health, the "Dr. Dolittle" star did not always find it easy. In November, the former Disney Channel star opened up about her challenges as a young star thrust into the spotlight
