Jamie Foxx Spotted Returning Lost Purse To A Woman After Recovering From A Mystery Illness

Jamie Foxx was recently seen in public performing an act of kindness. The award-winning actor, who only recently returned to public view after a health scare, was videoed returning a lost purse to its owner.

It comes after he was seen enjoying a boat ride on the Chicago River and bonding with friends on a game of golf at Topgolf driving range in Naperville, Ill.

Foxx was recently seen out and about in Chicago following his recuperation from a major health crisis.

During the outing, the "Django Unchained" star, who is known for his various acts of kindness and philanthropy, once again proved that being nice was simply a part of him even when the cameras were not on him.

He was captured on video returning a purse to its owner, who had misplaced it while outside in the Windy City.

"Mom lost her bag in Chicago today Jamie fox [sic] found it and brought it to her and he said he feels good y'all god is good," read the caption of the video, which was taken by the purse owner's son, per Page Six.

Upon returning the purse to its rightful owner, Foxx swiftly entered a sleek black SUV. Just as the vehicle was about to drive off, he waved to the grateful woman, who enthusiastically shouted, "Thank you, Jamie!"

The "Ray" star was previously spotted on a boat ride on the Chicago River last Sunday. A video of him on the vessel showed that the actor was in good spirits and happy to be back in public.

Foxx donned an all-black outfit, which he completed with a large, dark shade, and waved to passersby as the vessel sailed on.

The sighting marked the first time he was seen in public following his mysterious medical complication. That same day, he made a return to social media after being on hiatus due to the health scare.

He tweeted, "Boat life, Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn, adding "Stay blessed!"

While the tweet had no image added to it, it seemed to have referenced the actor's collaboration with the Brown Sugar Bourbon brand and also implied that he has made moves to get back to work.

Following the post, the comment section was bombarded with comments from Foxx's fans, who expressed their happiness about his return.

"Awesomeness so overjoyed to see you back and healing take it easy don't do to much to fast, love infinity tears of joy. You know we love [you] God will do it," one fan noted.

"Hi Jamie, I am a great fan, and I am very excited to see you doing well, and I will continue praying for you," another wrote.

Foxx has yet to publicly address the health scare, despite making several public appearances over the past few days. While it is unclear if he has plans to do so, it appears that the worst is now over.

And for those who are concerned about his motor skills, the actor was seen last Saturday playing golf during a late-night outing with friends at Topgolf driving range in Naperville, Ill.

"He was walking regular, not dragging his leg," said a source who spotted the actor at the location, per Page Six. "His arm movement were definitely good. He was just regular Jamie."

It comes after his daughter announced on April 12 that the "Day Shift" actor had suffered a medical complication while filming his Netflix movie "Back in Action" in Atlanta.

Foxx stayed for a while in a hospital in the state before he was later moved to a private facility in Chicago.
