Milania Giudice was once the odd one out in her family of "Skinny Italinas" because she was on the chunkier side. She quickly lost 40 pounds to relieve the pressure.
Milania Giudice Was Uncomfortable
The Bravo kid shared that her weight got out of control when she was in middle school and in two months she ended up dropping 40 pounds but it wasn’t without some drama behind it, her mom is Teresa Giudice after all.
“I weighed so much. My heaviest was like 150, and then when I was done [losing weight], I was like 110,” said the 17-year-old on her mom’s podcast “Namaste Bitches”. She revealed it didn’t look the greatest.
“I was so skinny after that. I was literally like a stick. I was so skinny because I just worked out, but I felt good.” As long as she feels good about herself that’s what matters (oh, and isn’t harming her body.)
Teresa Giudice Gave Subtle Hints
Milania insisted that her mom wasn’t intense about encouraging her to drop some pounds but she did hint that her third of four daughters was getting a little chunky. “My mom would — she would never say anything to me — but she’d be like, ‘Oh, you’re gonna have another ice cream?'”
It was her sisters who were a little harsh. Siblings will have you guessing if you are really a part of the family and not adopted. Milania’s sisters are just like everyone else’s. “My sisters would always throw jabs at me. Like, ‘Oh, you’re gonna have another ice cream after dinner?’ They would always throw little jabs at me, but it was fine. It was whatever.”
She continued with her mom it was different. “I’d be like, ‘Mom, don’t say anything to me, if I’m gonna have another ice cream, I’m gonna have another ice cream!'” explained the teen.
Milania Guidice Didn’t Care
The New Jersey native also shared that her go-to comeback was “‘I don’t care if I’m fat!’ I’d be like, ‘If I’m fat, I’m fat. Whatever. It’s my life.’” Eventually, for the reality star the change happened.
“It just clicked, and I did it.” Guidice was proud of her daughter. “They have to wanna do it themselves,” she said of pursuing a healthy lifestyle. Plus, she loves her daughter in any way that she can.
“You can’t force them, and I didn’t want her to have a complex or anything, and I thought she looked adorable. She was just a little thicker.”
Teresa Giudice Pulled Out The Stops
Giudice who at one point was really into fitness and competed in a bodybuilding competition helped her daughter out a little bit. She hired a nutritionist who cooked the “healthiest meals” three times a day for her.
Milania put in the work though, she worked out twice a day, before and after school. She now describes her transition as a “glow-up” after she “literally felt suffocated in my own body.”
She wasn’t too down on herself about it though, it led to something great for her.
“It happens to everybody. You go through a glow-up in your life,” she explained. “I had my glow-up when I was hitting eighth grade, I’d say.”
