Britney Spears Fans Are Taking Guesses At What Her Big News Might Be!

On Monday night, Britney Spears took to Instagram and Twitter to reveal that she was going to drop some "great news" for her fans.

The hashtag #BritneyIsComing started trending on Tuesday morning as fans eagerly awaited the announcement. Is it new music? A new album? Or something else entirely?

On Monday night, the "Toxic" singer took to Instagram and Twitter to share an announcement concerning some "great news" that she planned to reveal on Tuesday. "Great news coming tomorrow 👀🤫🙊 … I’m so so excited … can’t wait to share this news with you all !!!!" she wrote in the caption.

By Tuesday morning, the hashtag "Britney Is Coming" was trending, with many fans wondering what the announcement might be.

Although Britney has repeatedly said that she does not want to tour anymore, many fans took to Twitter to offer that as their guess as to what Britney's surprise might be. "Must be going to Tour!" one fan exclaimed.

Other fans were just excited to see Britney dancing to Janet Jackson. "announcing it with Janet playing youre such a mother," another fan wrote.

Another fan didn't want to guess. "Super excited about hearing new news from you!! I don’t even want to speculate!" They went on to praise Britney's sense of fashion and her dancing video, adding, "Love those boots! Hair flips! Yes gurl!"

Although many, many of her followers speculated that new music might be coming, it looks like People magazine might have jumped the shark and revealed the announcement before the pop star had a chance to tell her followers herself!

The cat might already be out of the bag! On Tuesday morning, People magazine revealed that Britney’s long-awaited memoir finally has a title and a release date! The title of Britney’s memoir is “The Woman and Me” and it will be available in bookshelves on October 24. However, the book is already available for sale.

The book is being distributed through Gallery Books after a lengthy bidding war; the publishing house is an imprint of Simon and Schuster, who reportedly signed one of the biggest publishing deals in history to bring Britney’s tell-all book to the market.

In a statement to the magazine,  Jennifer Bergstrom, Gallery Books Senior Vice President and Publisher, said, “Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery. Bergstrom added, “I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last.”
