Heather Rae El Moussa Shares Update On 5-Month-Old Baby Tristan's Diet Change

"Selling Sunset," star Heather Rae El Moussa is happy to see her 5-month-old baby Tristan move from breastfeeding to eating "real food."

The last few months have been the most fantastic experience for the television personality as her little one, whom she welcomed on Jan. 31 and shares with hubby, Tarek El Moussa, develops and grows at every turn. The first-time mom often provides real-time updates about her son's milestones and health struggles through Instagram, a ritual she has willfully continued.

"The Internship" actress uploaded a carousel of snaps of herself and the tiny tot on her social media page. In them, she uses a spoon to feed squashed food content to her baby, who is extremely excited to eat all of it.

Heather rocked a matching black long-sleeve shirt and shorts; in one pic, she wore a visor. However, in some pictures, her newborn donned a sky blue and orange onesie with the American flag design on it and a black and army green onesie in others.

In the following message, the 35-year-old announced that baby Tristan had a big day. She explained that she fed her baby solid food and notified fans of the type of food she served him. Also, in a few words, she mentioned her thrill to see him transition with ease. Heather wrote:

"Our big man had real food today!!! Seriously cherishing these memories & moments forever ?  it was so cute seeing T eat food." 

"After reading up on it, we decided to lead with something less sweet first since babies tend to like sweets (obviously, lol), so he tried organic mashed avocado first, and he absolutely LOVED it. He kept grabbing the spoon and wanting more," she continued. 

Then the doting mother mentioned that she tried "organic puréed butternut squash," which Tristan absolutely "loved and kept wanting more." In the concluding part, she penned:

"Big day for Tristan Jay ?," and extended a listening ear to parents who would like to discuss how they started incorporating food into their baby's meals.

A slew of fans came through with their experiences in the comments. One wrote, "Love the advice and content from @solidstarts ! We didn't do a puree phase, just went right to Whole Foods." 

Another observer shared, "I always did one food at a time for at least a few days, so I knew if they were allergic to something." A third typed, "Food before 1 just for fun," was my motto, and we follow babyled weaning!"

Others commented with some mom hacks to hopefully make the process more pleasant.

A few days before this update, The Blast noted how the HGTV star provided details on baby Tristan's new traits and emerging interests. Likewise, the former "Playboy" model posted a snapshot of herself, Tristan, and Tarek. A lengthy caption relating these newfound appeals accompanied the family image on her Instagram handle.

Starting with the essential trait, Heather wrote, "Tristan is sleeping well at night (sometimes ?)." After that, "The Flipping El Moussas" star listed other concentrated likes and interests of her "happiest chill baby." She wrote:

"[He] loves the camera, he's smiling and giggling, he loves touching faces and is the happiest chill. Always missing Tay & Bray on nights where it's just us, though ?."

Conclusively, the reality TV star gushed about her family —- She wrote: "The El Moussa household may be a little more chaotic with 3 kids, but it feels full. Love our family and love watching T grow day by day???."

In addition to their 5-month-old baby Tristan, Heather's spouse, is also dad to Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, with ex Christina Hall. On Father's Day, which took place on Sunday, June 18, the real estate agent used the opportunity to recognize her man for the great father that he is.

The mother of one shared two snaps of the doting father-of-three spending some quality time with his children. With that, she attached a sweet Father's Day tribute. She began with a list of his fathering qualities:

"Happy Father's Day to the man who never fails to show up for the kids, puts a smile on their faces, takes time away from work to be there for them, will do anything not to miss a single game, surprises them at their school with their favorite lunches, wakes up early to spend quality time with them."

Then she noted that she was excited to see Tarek be an exceptional dad. The actress finally wrote, "I fall in love with you over and over again, seeing you be the best daddy ever, and we couldn't be luckier to have you. And I love raising the kids with you."
