Johnny Depp is a doting father to his daughter Lily-Rose Depp. The actor and singer recently honored her at his London show by wearing a blazer with her name sewn into its lapel.

He had previously lauded her for her performance in HBO's "The Idol," the controversial series where she played upcoming pop star Jocelyn.

Movie star Johnny Depp honored his daughter Lily-Rose at his recent show at London's O2 Arena.

The actor, on the road with his rock band Hollywood Vampires, was at the location performing as part of his series of shows scheduled to be held in the United Kingdom.

Depp climbed the stage wearing a blazer with Lily-Rose's name emblazoned in white cursive handwriting on the top left pocket.

Alongside the affectionate gesture, the customized jacket had several designs etched across its surface, one of which was a weird skull on the right sleeve.

Depp also wore a striped sweater vest and camouflage shirt atop a pair of black trousers held together by a stylish belt. He complimented the look with a beige fedora hat and a bandana tied around his dark brown locks.

Depp filled his hands with multiple rings for his accessories and had a couple of chains on his neck.

It comes after the singer and actor praised his daughter for her role in Sam Levinson's "The Idol."

A source told the Daily Mail that Depp was happy that the 24-year-old "is carving out a career of her own and challenging herself to take on roles that interest her and test her."

They noted, "He loves that she is her person and becoming her actress. She isn't resting her career on his success. He loves that she is such a strong person, especially now that she has gotten some extra attention with her recent role in The Idol."

The 69-year-old is also "proud" of her and is not bothered by the criticism she received for playing a sexual role in "The Idol."

The source added, "He believes that she must be doing something right since the role is getting so much attention, and he is proud of her success."

Lily-Rose Depp Praised Her Father's New Movie

Just as Johnny is hyped about Lily-Rose's achievement, the actress also feels the same way about his recent film moves, per Page Six.

"The Pirates of the Caribbean" alum recently debuted his new movie, "Jeanne du Barry," at the Cannes Film Festival, receiving a seven-minute standing ovation.

In the historical drama, Johnny played Louis XV( Louis the Beloved), who ruled France from 1715 until 1774.

"I'm super happy for him. I'm super excited," Lily-Rose said of her father, whose career was derailed for years by his feud with ex-wife Amber Heard

She added, "And it's so awesome that we get to do projects we're super proud of."

Johnny shares Lily-Rose with his ex-wife, Vanessa Paradis. Beyond being involved in the acting industry, the father-daughter duo also share a "close relationship."

While the father-daughter duo has yet to make a joint appearance at an event, they have previously collaborated on projects.

One notable collaboration was in the 2016 comic-book film "Yoga Hosers," directed by Kevin Smith. This movie, the second installment in a Canadian-themed trilogy from Smith, featured Johnny and Lily-Rose's characters working together to combat an ancient evil.

Additionally, they both appeared in Smith's film "Tusk" two years prior, although Lily-Rose had a minor role as a Girl Clerk in that particular film.

In 2021, Lily-Rose expressed that while she is open to collaborating with her father again, it is not a huge priority for her now.

"That's not something I consider first and foremost," she told Today"What's interesting to me is (whether) the particular character that I may or may not be playing, and then the story it's telling and everything."
