The Queen of Pop Madonnahas finally broken her silence after a near-death experience that has her hospitalized with a serious bacterial infection.

Since Madonna's hospitalization, fans have been extremely worried about her condition. However, the "Material Girl" singer was recently spotted on a walk in New York, alleviating worries. Madonna's health scare was confirmed in late June, with reports saying she was intubated for a night.

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, previously shared that she had a severe bacterial infection. The singer and her team have now postponed her Celebration tour, which was meant to start July 15th.

Singer Madonna has finally spoken out following her recent health scare. Taking to Instagram, she shared a message thanking fans for their support and well-wishers.

She wrote, "Thank you for your positive energy, prayers, and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful."

The "Vogue" hitmaker then talked about how she thought of her children why in the hospital and also how she did not want to disappoint any of her fans who had gotten tickets for her show. She revealed that she did not want to "let down" anyone who had worked hard to help bring it to life.

Madonna then stated that her focus is on her health and "getting stronger." She continued, "The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe."

"I couldn't be more grateful for your love and support," Madonna concluded.

She was recently seen taking a walk in her New York neighborhood. The "Material Girl" singer was initially reported unconscious and hospitalized about two weeks ago, and there has since been heavy speculation on her condition and recovery.

A video shared on TikTok by podcaster Lauren Conlin showed the pop icon dressed down in black clothes, giant sunglasses, a hat, and Nike sneakers. She also seemed to be leaning on a lamppost for support as she waited to cross the street with her friend, who remains unidentified.

Madonna was seen in the Upper East Side neighborhood, crossing the road at East 80th Street and Lexington Avenue. She seemingly had no trouble walking on her own but was obviously taking her time. The singer had her hair braided and minimal makeup, with only red lipstick evident on her face.

In late June, reports spread that Madonna was found unconscious at home and rushed to the hospital. The singer was reportedly intubated to get her responsive, but the tube was removed about a night after. 

After being released from hospital care, Madonna was accompanied back home by a police escort. Many of her family members, including her sons, David Banda, and Rocco Ritchie, reportedly began visiting. Since her release, the singer has remained silent on her health status, which caused a lot of fan speculation.

Many responded to Conlin's TikTok post about sighting the superstar on her walk, thanking her for the update. One comment read, "This brought so much light to us her fans- thank you for sharing!." Another fan wrote, "That's great news! Love her and hope to see her soon, I wish we had an update on upcoming shows.."

After her hospitalization became public news, Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, shared an update on Instagram. He said the "Vogue" singer had "developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several days stay in the ICU." Oseary also shared that doctors expect her to make a "full recovery."

Rosie O'Donnell, one of Madonna's close friends, also shared an update for fans on Instagram. She responded to a comment asking about how Madonna is handling the crisis and wrote, "She is recovering at home — she is very strong in general."

When another follower commented, "God bless her hope she's ok, I don't care about the tour," O'Donnell replied, "She's good." Madonna's best friend, Debi Mazar, also spoke on the singer's health and said she was "on the mend & home resting!"

With the recent health scare, Madonna's team has officially postponed her Celebration tour. The tour was originally meant to start with a July 15th performance in Vancouver, Canada. A source revealed to Page Six that Madonna's overworking and heavy preparations likely caused her medical emergency.

The source shared that the Grammy winner had been "strenuously rehearsing" for over 10 hours for the tour. They explained that she refuses to "cancel her tour" because she was "having a blast in rehearsals and wants to get back to it when she's ready."

Another insider said Madonna was "constantly pushing herself" to keep her performance up to par with her younger dancers. One of the singer's friends told the publication, "While she is as good as the people she is working with, many of them are a fraction of her age and without her history of injuries."
