The Temptation Light Makes The Couples See Red On "Temptation Island"

More drama, more anxiety, more spite! There's more of everything on "Temptation Island" this week.
The Temptation Light has been introduced to both villas and all the couples are feeling anxiety at an all-time high. But like a moth to a flame, they can't seem to ignore it, and for good reason.
The Temptation Light Unlocks New Fear In The Couples
When host Mark L. Walberg walked into the girls' villa, they knew trouble was afoot. Paris looked like she saw a ghost seeing him walk into the villa and commented that every time he visits, she knows something concerning is about to happen. And so it did...
Walberg was there to give the bad news about the interesting looking decor in the room.
"When you see the red light, that means that one of your partners in the other villa has given into temptation," he said.
He continued to explain that while you'll know something is happening, you won't know exactly what or who. You'll just know that "someone in the other villa has given into temptation."
Clearly no one is excited about the glowing red ball of bad news. But one person who took the news particularly hard was Vanessa.
"It's gut wrenching," she said. "I'm gonna sleep on this couch and watch that light all night long like I won't be able to rest." She later added, "I'm going to be triggered regardless of if it's my man or not."
Mark told the girls that there's an identical Temptation Light in in the guys' villa too.
"It's safe to say that the island is always watching," Walberg reminded everyone.
After breaking the news to the girls, it was time for Walberg to pay the guys' villa a visit and deliver the same not-so-welcomed news. They also didn't take the news of the interesting decor too well.
Great immediately said that every time he sees the ball glowing red he will assume it's Paris. Will this up his game on how he will handle his own temptation? That's a question on many people's minds.
Trying To Continue The Party Vibe With The Unwanted Guest Staring Them Down!
Clearly no one is happy about the news of the Temptation Light, but they all realize they have to figure out a way to deal with it, so the party vibes continued in both the villas. The guys' villa had a prom night and the girls' villa has a casino-themed party.
During the parties, some more bonding was going on. Tahjicc and Paris continued to get closer, as did Hall and Makayla, and Great and Nafeesah.
Things went to a new level between Great and Nafeesah when she lured him into the bedroom. But not far behind was Tamie asking if Great is okay. After some bickering back and forth between the two girls, Tamie left and things got heated in the bedroom for Great and Nafeesah.
Thanks to the newly lit fire in the bedroom, the Temptation Light in the girls' villa glowed red. The party momentarily halted because of the glowing disappointment in the room. But Marisela proclaimed that she sees the light as a challenge, and Vanessa ran with that thought.
"I want it lit up in the other house," Vanessa said. "I want them to feel the pressure of potentially losing their partner."
And then, just like that, the party turned up a bit because of the glowing light. Inhibitions went down and a little bit of spite could be detected.
Rob and Desiree began to get closer and Rob confessed, "As I've been connecting more with Des, I've been letting go of Vanessa."
The light goes off again in the girls' villa, but the guys' too end up feeling what it feels like for the ball to be glowing red when it goes off in their villa.
Bonfire Time!
The bonfire certainly brings out the anxiety and concern in everyone. During the guys' bonfire, they watched clips to see who fell into temptation.
Great watched Paris get lap dances and kiss Tahjicc, and also got a glimpse of the two of them in bed together.
"I always had my doubts," Great said. And Walberg reminded him that he's done stuff on the island too.
Chris saw Marisela set the Temptation Light off in the guys' villa.
"I'm shocked. Disappointed. My heart is beating out of my chest right now. She set all of these rules for me and she was the first one to break them," he said. "There's a feeling of relief that's over powering me right now. I'm done. Finished."
Rob's turn. He saw Vanessa dancing during the casino party.
"That doesn't really phase me," he said. " The more and more I let Vanessa go, the happier I am. The lighter I'm becoming. I'm getting my happiness back because I've been unhappy for a very long time."
And last but not least, Hall. He saw Kaitlin in a deep, embracing hug and said, "I haven't seen that much love in a while."
He continued to say that he hasn't been held like that in a long time. He concluded his thoughts by explaining, "I've always known deep inside she is not the one for me."
It's really beginning to look like all four couples are starting to unravel - some because of a real connection, and others because of payback or spite. Do you think any of the couples will leave together at this point?
"Temptation Island" airs on USA Network on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST.
