Okay yes, the picture is a tad in your face and the "Uncharted" star does look a little out of it. It's a far cry from his red carpet looks where Holland looks like the perfect British bloke, dapper in his suits, in long hair or lopped-off locks.

Fans are having a field day with the image, making all sorts of jokes about him looking "traumatized" because Zendaya's new movie trailer just came out. The movie is "Challengers" where Zendaya is shown having a threesome with Josh O'Conner and Mike Faist.

Fans went nuts, ribbing Holland over Zendaya's new movie trailer, leaving cheeky comments like:

No, The "Trauma" Is Not Zendaya!

Holland's latest post was not about Zendaya, either for or because at all, and the fans were simply having a little fun at his expense. The "selfie" he took is likely taken while he was still in character for his new Apple TV series, "The Crowded Room," inspired by Daniel Keyes’s 1981 non-fiction novel "The Minds of Billy Milligan." The book narrates the true story of Billy Milligan, the first American citizen recorded in history to have used dissociative identity disorder to plead not guilty to crimes committed.

Holland even captioned the image, writing, "Feeling blessed for all THE CROWDED ROOM love ❤️ Thank you to all my amazing fans and to everyone watching the show. Episodes 8,9 and 10 really take the show to new heights. I can’t wait to hear what you all think, and thank you again ❤️."

Given that within two hours the post had earned 1.8 million likes, including a laughing heart eyes emoji from his girl, Zendaya, fans are appreciating his words as well as his acting, although one fan seemed compelled to write to Zendaya, "he’s still a cutie patootie regardless of this picture." Aww!

Josh Brolin also send Holland a heart emoji and several other fans wrote to him. The official IG handle of "The Crowded Room" also commented, "You're phenomenal in this, not at all ready for this show to end."

Others simply fanned over the show and his acting skills:

"honestly ep7 was so crazy you're saying 8, 9 and 10 are CRAZIER?"

"proud of you tom!!!!! sending tons of love your way!  I’m thoroughly enjoying this show and how everything is coming together!"

"YOU DON'T NEED THE EMMY, THE EMMY NEEDS YOU"

"you smashed it in the crowded room! can't believe we're down to 3 episodes left."

Here's Holland shining in "The Crowded Room" and we see you, Amanda Seyfried!

Of course, while fans were busy cracking jokes, some of Holland's fans got a little offended, as one wrote, "Can y’all stop with these challengers trailer comments already 😭 Zendaya is an actor…. Tom is an actor… for them, it’s A JOB. Now move along 🫡 thank you."

Of course, it is all fun and games, even from the Instagram users' POV, because everyone knows Tom and Zendaya are couple goals, as the actor recently gushed, "I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life. It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you. You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff – and that’s worth its weight in gold."
