Faith Evans Settles Divorce To Music Producer Husband After Unexpected Union

Faith Evans has finally made an agreement with her estranged ex Stevie J that will lead to the end of their divorce proceedings, finally.

Of her life! It was a complete shock that the singer even married Stevie in the first place so, unfortunately, this divorce feels more fitting than the marriage did. on July 3, the singer reported to the court that she has “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic support partnership rights, including support.”

She also submitted a copy of the deal to the court and asked for approval. Radar Online has obtained the legal documents that state so far that spousal support and attorney fees two topics of contention earlier on in the divorce have yet to be revealed.

The award-winning singer has documented that t reason for her divorce like many other people is irreconcilable differences. “There are irreconcilable differences that have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage or domestic partnership, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage or domestic partnership through counseling or other means.”

The couple called it quits in 2021 in a shocking move, Stevie was the one to file the paperwork. No prenup was signed ahead of the union so it left the music producer open to what he wanted to grab on his way out of the divorce.

Stevie wanted spousal support and of course, Evans wasn’t having any of that leading to the divorce taking years to settle. Soon after he filed the paperwork he regretted it because he made a public announcement that he would get his wife back!

The singer wasn’t interested as much as Stevie poured his heart out, the damage was done. “Faith Rene Jordan I’ve hurt you, disrespected you, and humiliated you in front of the world. From this day forward I promise to listen to your feelings and be more delicate with your heart.”

Unfortunately, once Stevie realized it wasn’t going to work, he backed off and let the divorce play out. In early 2023, Evans accused the Love and Hip Hop alum of stealing her Sprinter van in the middle of the night.

She even had to go to court to force Stevie to return the vehicle, she mentioned that he doesn’t have a valid driver’s license and he’s not on her insurance, a double whammy. Stevie initially denied any wrongdoing and the couple later told the court the issue was resolved.

The Grammy-winning singer has already taken steps to move on with her life including a new song with the Queen of Bounce Big Freedia called “B***h You Want.” Freedia describes the album “like walking through the streets of New Orleans.”

Just before that, Evans was on a new track with Eric Bellinger and Slim of 112 for the song “Gotta Have Faith.” The singer hasn’t released a full album since 2017’s The King & I. Maybe now, after this messy divorce, she will have an album worth of stuff to say.
