According to the Daily Mail, a recent report by New Idea claims that the 43-year-old artist, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, is seeking a fresh start and a "new chapter" for her family.
Sources also report that Pink, who is scheduled to perform in Australia this summer, has set her sights on Down Under. "Australia will be such a special time," the insider shared. "Setting up much longed for a dream base Down Under where they can escape the wintry months will be just what the doctor ordered."
Pink Considers Australian Citizenship
Pink's strong affection for Australia has been evident throughout the years, and she has hinted at the possibility of pursuing Australian citizenship. During an interview on Australian 60 Minutes in February, she divulged that she was actively exploring the idea of obtaining Australian citizenship, further cementing her connection to the country.
In the interview, Pink candidly expressed her plans to become an Australian citizen, stating, per Daily Mail, "'Last year I was thinking about applying for citizenship, I am not even joking."
She went on to mention that she had discussed the idea with her partner, Hart, and even suggested that they relocate to Australia. Pink has recently revealed plans for her highly anticipated Summer Carnival Tour, which will encompass seven major cities across Australia in February of next year.
Despite having previously toured the country multiple times, Pink has primarily performed in arena-sized venues. This upcoming tour marks a significant milestone for the singer as it will be her first official stadium tour in Australia.
The Australasian leg of Pink's tour will commence at Sydney's Allianz Stadium on February 9, 2024. The excitement will continue to soar as she takes the stage at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on February 13, Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on February 16, and Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast on February 20.
Melbourne fans will have their chance to witness Pink's electrifying performance at Marvel Stadium on February 23, while Adelaide fans can look forward to her show at Adelaide Oval on February 27. The tour will conclude with a spectacular event at Optus Stadium in Perth on March 1.
