Model Ireland Baldwin is experiencing a few changes to her body after giving birth to her first child, a daughter named Holland, with her longtime boyfriend, RAC.
The 27-year-old daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger took to her Instagram Stories and also made a post that showed off the "spillage" from her chest, which has gotten larger after welcoming her first bundle of joy.
Ireland Baldwin Says Her Chest ‘Used To Be Perkalicious And Now They Be SPILLING’
It seems that pregnancy has not only made Ireland’s family larger, but her chest has gone up a few sizes as well. She appeared to be waiting in her car as she snapped a few photos and a video, including one that she later shared on her Instagram Stories. The black strap of the seatbelt can be seen over her chest, which is covered up in a purple tank top.
However, it doesn’t completely cover her chest, as there appears to be some “spillage” hanging out the sides. Ireland would later post a close-up photo in a separate Instagram post. As for the photo in her Instagram Stories, however, she wrote: “They used to be perkalicious and now they be SPILLING.” Judging by the comments in the post itself, it seems that new moms everywhere can relate!
Ireland Shares A Close-Up Photo Of The 'Spillage' She's Experiencing!
In another Instagram post over the weekend, the new mom shared a close-up photo of her still wearing her spaghetti strap tank top. From this angle, fans can clearly see not only the “spillage” that she is talking about but also stretch marks from growing too quickly. In the caption of this post, Ireland wrote, “Anyone else’s postpartum t*t be spillin’ ??” Celebrity photographer and author Mitch Stone joked, “Mine was until I pumped!”
Many fans had nothing negative to say about Baldwin’s post. Instead, they praised her for her transparency and authenticity as she shared the struggles that all new moms go through. And old moms too, apparently, as one fan commented, “Me and I had my son 39 years ago.” Another follower replied, “Same!”
Fans Can Definitely Relate To Ireland's 'Spillage' Situation!
“Yep and I’m 21 years postpartum,” a third fan chimed in. “You beat me to it! 18 years PP here!” another follower shared. “Same; I’m almost 27 (!!!) years PP here. You had the BEST. ANSWER. EVER!!!” another fan exclaimed. “They are still spilling, 41 years later,” another follower wrote, reminding fans that sometimes post-pregnancy bodies may never return to their original state.
Another fan called her the “Best looking Baldwin by far.” Another follower added, “She’s the coolest by far” while a third fan said that “she gets it from her mom,” who is “L.A. Confidential” actress Kim Basinger. More fans continued to praise Ireland for her honest look at postpartum life, especially after a recent post where she got changes about the mental and physical changes that she experienced during her pregnancy.
Ireland Baldwin Shares What She Learned From Her First Pregnancy
In a deleted Instagram post initially published in May 2023, Ireland admitted that she “really struggled” during her first pregnancy. "I really struggled in my pregnancy as many of us do. Not just by puking everywhere. I don't miss that. As someone who suffers tremendously from health anxiety, pregnancy shifted everything into overdrive," she explained. "Every thought in my head pertained to hurting the baby."
"I spent the last 9 months worrying about pulmonary embolisms, blood clots, pre eclampsia. I read countless pregnancy horror stories and I watched negative birthing video after video until I'd go numb from it all," she confessed. "I worried I wouldn't make it through my delivery or something terrible would happen."
"Nearly everything everyone told would happen, didn't. The delivery was intense, but l've been in worse pain. She was born," she wrote. "My fears fled. My heart was full. I've fallen in love again for a second time. I've lost loads of sleep, but I couldn't care less. I could stare at her doing absolutely nothing for hours. A sense of calm has washed over me since her arrival and that has in turn made me feel rested."
"My b**bs have changed, but I finally have those Pam Anderson's I've always wanted. Just a little floppier," she joked. "My body created life. A brain!! A heart. Little feet! My body is f*cking magic. No one could tell me otherwise. You're right, I will never look at it the same. And I don't want to. I would birth her 100 more times if I had to."
"Don't let people tell you how it's going to be. Life is scary and unpredictable and this process was terrifying but it's the greatest thing I've ever done and ever will do. Don't let people scare you. Just take deep breathes and enjoy being pregnant," she wrote. "Even if you're a waddling, constipated solar system like I was. Because now that she's out, I stare at her little feet kicking the air and remember what it was like feeling her kick me."
"Knowing she was protected by my body and now she's a little person in the world," she concluded. "It hasn't been long at all, and I already wish I could stop time."
