According to the Daily Mail, Ellie Goulding and her husband, Caspar Jopling, are currently experiencing a period of separation following challenges in their four-year marriage. The couple, who were spotted together at the Serpentine Summer Party, encountered a situation where Jopling departed to enjoy an evening with friends, leaving Goulding behind.

Keen observers noted that the "Goodness Gracious" singer was not wearing her wedding and engagement rings during the event. This incident has shed light on the strain their busy schedules have placed on their relationship. Consequently, they have decided to take some time apart and even live separately for at least six months.

Despite their current circumstances, sources claimed to the news outlet that Goulding and Jopling maintain a strong bond and continue to prioritize co-parenting their beloved son, Arthur, who was born in 2021.

Amid their reported marital issues, Goulding and Jopling have been seen together on multiple occasions, sparking speculation among their friends that there is hope for their marriage to be rebuilt.

An insider shared with The Sun, "There have been ups and downs for a while, but they have always strongly felt they wanted to stay together so they could both be with their son." They continued, "In the end, they've tried to find a compromise where they continue to share lots of time for their son Arthur, but outside of that sometimes live separate lives for now."

The source concluded, "There is no discussion of a divorce and neither of them has been in a new relationship – the priority is to keep good friends and remain amicable whilst they work out their next steps, so they can stay close and enjoy being mum and dad to Arthur."

Goulding and Jopling's romantic journey began in 2017, eventually culminating in a beautiful wedding ceremony at York Minster two years later. Their journey took a joyful turn when they received the news of their impending parenthood during their first wedding anniversary celebration in 2020.

She even confessed to indulging in the occasional visit to McDonald's, although clarifying that her craving for tinned sardines and Weetabix Minis did not occur simultaneously. Obviously, the project will cover her music and time in the studio which she has built at home but Ellie also wants to shine a greater light on her work as a climate change activist," the insider explained, per The Sun. "She is really passionate about using her profile for good and thinks a documentary will do just that."
