According to Page Six, "Meet Cute" actor Pete Davison is presently in rehab and is being treated for borderline personality disorder and PTSD. He's reportedly in the same Pennsylvania facility as his friend John Mulaney, who was there to get treated for his drug and drinking problems.

A friend who spoke with the news outlet said, "Pete regularly goes to rehab for 'tune ups' and to take a mental break, so that's what's happening."

Another source noted, "Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it. He has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him, and are proud of him."

Davidson was only seven years old when he lost his father in the tragic 9/11 attack. "He's taking a well deserved break so he can focus on himself and learn to better deal with his PTSD issues," a friend of his told Page Six of Davidson's entry into rehab.

This new development comes months after he drove his car into the side of a Beverly Hills house with his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders in the Passenger seat.

The famous comedian and his girlfriend Wonders were involved in a car accident in March after their vacation in Hawaii.

Davidson had allegedly lost control of the vehicle, climbed a curb, and smashed into the side of a Beverly Hills house, ruining the lawn and leaving skid marks everywhere.

Photos obtained by TMZ showed that the vehicle didn't crash all the way into the house, but it left a significant amount of damage on the side of the property. Although the side was smashed up, there was no sign of damage to the inside of the house.

Davidson and Wonders were also left unharmed, with Police confirming that drugs and alcohol did not factor in the accident.

The Beverly Hills home which Davidson ran into has now been demolished for unknown reasons. There was barely any damage to the building at the time of the accident, and it was believed that Davidson or insurance would cover the cost of fixing the house.

Back in March, the homeowner, who spoke to TMZ, revealed that his teenage daughter, who was the only person at the home when the accident happened, was unharmed but "a bit" traumatized by the event.

The house was previously located on the famous Rodeo Drive, but all that's left of it is a pile of dirt.

Asides from Davidson's legal issues from his car accident, the comedian found himself in a heated argument with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

The nonprofit organization called out the actor for purchasing a new puppy instead of adopting one. PETA claims that it was the wrong thing to do because it encourages breeding, which they heavily frown upon.

Not liking PETA being in his business, Davidson slammed the organization, saying, "My mom's f**king dog, who is 2 years old, died a week before, so we're all so sad, so I had to get a specific dog." He added that he was allergic to dogs and, for that reason, needed to purchase a Cavapoo specifically. These canines are reportedly hypoallergenic and safe to be around people with allergies.

PETA hit back at Davidson, saying he could have adopted the specific breed he wanted if he had done some research. They said to TMZ, "If Pete had done his research, he would know that there's no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog, that at least a quarter of dogs in shelters are purebreds, and that Petfinder has listings for homeless dogs of every breed under the sun, including the one he purchased."

Speaking on his enraged message to PETA, Davidson said, "I am upset. It was a poor choice of words. I shouldn't have said what I said, but I am not sorry for standing up for myself and my family." According to the actor, he was only trying to cheer up his family, and the statement from PETA, along with being filmed by the pet store, greatly angered him.
