Lewis Capaldi's Fan Regard Him As 'Courageous' And 'Brilliant' After Canceling Tour For Health Concerns

Lewis Capaldi shocked fans when he canceled his tour, but they were quick to lift him up and support whatever is best for his health!

The singer, unfortunately, had to take time off to attend to his physical and mental health. He has been open about his battle with Tourette’s syndrome and how it impacts his live performances. Taking a break was crucial. He apologized but guess what? No one wanted to hear it.

Fellow performers and fans banded together to tell the singer to stop apologizing and commended him for knowing how much he can take before demanding some free time. “Take your time kid, everyone will be here waiting for you when you’re ready. ❤️,” wrote band SaintPhnx.

“You’re brilliant. Very courageous to admit something like this. Everyone is quite clearly behind you all the way. ❤️❤️ You deserve a Norfolk Bravery Award for this. I’ll get Alan to send one,” joked around Greg James.

Capaldi poured his heart out in the candid post. “The fact that this probably won't come as a surprise doesn't make it any easier to write, but I'm very sorry to let you know I'm going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future,” he writes.

He shared his personal reason. “I used to be able to enjoy every second of shows like this and I'd hoped 3 weeks away would sort me out. But the truth is I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come.”

He apologized profusely and thanked friends and family to helped him make the decision and the fans who understand and accept it.

Capaldi has some pretty amazing fans they all showed support, it would be hard to find a negative comment if someone was searching for one. Ryan Tedder of One Republic dropped a few heart emojis.

Actor Jamie Dornan was there for support as well. “Huge love to you my man. Rest up. Come back strong. ?”

Capaldi has nothing to worry about his fans will be there when he gets back and his show will continue to sell out. “Can’t wait to see you back on stage in the future brother! Top talent, top person ❤️,” wrote a follower.

“Your label might threaten to drop you. Your management might threaten to drop you. Lean in to your fanbase. Trust us. We won’t drop you. ❤️.”
