Alec Baldwin Loses Cool At "US Airlines" After Being Stuck In Plane

Alec Baldwin was pretty frustrated on Instagram last night, and rightfully so, given that he's been stuck in a plane trying to fly from Newark to Vancouver, "with no end in sight!"

Fans are feeling for the 65-year-old, especially as he recently detailed a painful hip replacement.

When it comes to flying, it seems even celebrities face the same hassles as other individuals, given that Alec Baldwin took to Instagram to share his angst about being stuck in a plane a few hours ago.

The "It's Complicated" star wrote, "6 and 1/2 hours on a plane, sitting at the gate, waiting to fly NEWARK to VANCOUVER. No end in sight."

He also added a hashtag, #HowWillGlobalWarmingEffectAirTravel.

Baldwin is hardly the only person affected by flight delays right now, as just within the past 24 hours, there have been over 7,000 reported delays across the US, with most coming from the thunderstorm-stricken Northeast. Some 1,800 flights have been canceled, as well, due to unpredictable weather on the Atlantic coast.

Fans from Vancouver tried to send his cheery messages,

"Oh, I want to hug you in Vancouver!"

"Coming to Vancouver?! Awesome! What project are you working on here?"

"It’s beautiful here in Vancouver. If you can get here."

"Oh Vancouver!! You will love the fresh air when u get off."

Funnily enough, Baldwin just promoted one of his movies, "97 Minutes" which is all about a plane!

Baldwin also recently told his fans about a painful hip replacement he had nearly a month ago, made all the more complicated because he kept pushing back the procedure for two years. In a video on Instagram, he told his followers, "I had my hip replaced on Tuesday of this past week. I had my left hip done in 2018, five years ago, and I had the other one done five days ago. The pain goes away gradually… but it is incredibly painful. But as we keep saying in my house, 'It’s the pain that’s going to end the pain.'"

Given that he was stuck on the plane for hours on end, fans felt for him, writing, "How’s that hip treating ya?"

Others felt that air travel "suited" him, leaving his compliments like,

"You look really good here. Flying wears me out."

"But a cool look…. younger than usual! Fly more often!"

"Maybe, but your hair looks awesome!!'

Another fan also cracked a little joke, telling Baldwin, "That sucks…but at least you look good sitting there… Start playing Words with Friends…. oops, sorry!"

This was in reference to the 2011 incident when Baldwin was deplaned for allegedly not complying with airline staff when asked to shut his phone off because he was playing the game "Words with Friends", something he was almost addicted to.

In another post, Baldwin nearly glowered at the camera as he captioned his "angry face" image, "Why are US airlines so sh---y? Sitting here for 6 and 1/2 hours."

Fans immediately commiserated with the actor, feeling his angst as they commented:

"It should not be legal to make people sit on the plane."

"Unreal. I thought after 3 you could go back to the gate and deplane/change planes. Deep breaths. Maybe start singing or doing one of your amazing impressions. Hope it's over soon. Safe travels."

"I’ve taken 150 flights in the past 3 years. It’s taken a turn for the worst. Expect to be delayed, postponed, or canceled. Give yourself 2 extra days of travel leeway if flying. This is the new norm."

"I don’t know. It’s like they’ve gone back in time ignoring all the technology that is available to plan accordingly. Being delayed & canceled are now par. It makes zero sense."

More fans tried to make light of the moment as they suggested he take a nap given that his kids must be tiring him out. Yet another stated that it would have been much, much worse had the kids and the family been with him, a fact all parents with small children would agree to.

Then again, Baldwin has often mentioned how his family is his ultimate solace...
