It has been four years since Dog The Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman has passed away. Her daughter Bonnie Chapman praised her mom and the memories she left behind.
Bonnie Chapman Misses Her Mama
The former reality star took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about her mom, who died from cancer four years ago. "Today makes four years without you; I am so thankful for all the memories you've given me."
Beth was a significant presence on reality television, often stealing the spotlight from her husband, Duane "Dog" Chapman, on their popular reality show, Dog The Bounty Hunter. She was usually wearing something pink and looked more like she was going ready to enjoy a hot girl summer rather than kicking ass and taking names in the politest way bounty hunters can be.
"The life lessons you've taught me ring in my ear every day and guide me with good intentions," she recalls of her mother's presence.
More Loss For Beth Chapman's Family
Bonnie, her mom's mini-me, spoke to her directly and shared that the family had lost more loved ones, including pets.
"This year, you're joined by your mother, two family friends, and my fur babies. I couldn't think of a better crowd to be with; although I wish I could hug you today, I know your arms are full, and your heart is filled with love."
Bonnie misses her mom dearly. "I do all I do for you, and I know you're proud of me. I've stood my ground and stayed true to myself as you've taught me my whole life."
Bonnie Chapman Reminisces About Her Mom
Bonnie shared the special memory of the last time she held her mom. "Today, four years ago, was the last time I held your hand, but I know I will see you again. Thank you all for loving her so much; I hope you all enjoy your day in memory of the one and only Beth Chapman."
She continued. "My mother loved you all; I hope we keep her memory alive and fill others' lives with love like she did with ours."
Bonnies' followers showered her in support and love. Some left their memories of Beth, and others confessed to still watching reruns of the popular show that ran on A+E in addition to a handful of spinoffs.
She shared a photo of her mom in her glory; holding a taser with a pink band and suited up to hunt down some bad people or, as Beth and Dog often saw them; people who have just lost their way.
Bonnie Chapman Shares Memories Often
Bonnie's goal is to keep forever her mom's memory alive. A few months ago, she posted a sweet message to her mom on her birthday and shared a picture of the gorgeous blonde. "No words can express the loss of a mother. Every day I wish I could ask for your advice. I live each day knowing you would be proud of me for standing my ground like you did when you were here."
Bonnie continued. "I've embodied your mannerisms and have seen the hardships that come with it. No one will ever replace the fire you ignited in the hearts of the people you touched. Not a single soul will ever compare to you. Happy birthday, Mom; I wish you were here."
She often shares memories on important days to Beth, like Mother's Day and sometimes her birthday, when she misses the love and attention a mom would give their kid on their special day.
