Chloë Sevigny Shows Off Tushy As Fans Say 'Thank God For Mirrors'

Seamstress, actress, fashion icon, and "It Girl" Chloë Sevigny just gave her fans a massive visual treat as she posed for the camera in nothing but a silk scarf. While her front was covered with the bohemian, pop-culture scarf, her tushy caught the mirror and fans are now thanking mirrors, worldwide! Here go deets...

Chloë Sevigny was discovered by fashion only. In 1992, aged 17, she was spotted on an East Village street by the fashion editor of "Sassy" magazine, who was blown away by her style and asked her to model, although later she also became an intern. Sevigny recalls the event shrugging it off as the editor "just liked the hat I was wearing."

Today, Sevigny is 48 and married to art gallery director Siniša Mačković, and has a three-year-old son.

Even as the years have passed Sevigny is still very much the fashion and art connoisseur, the reason why she chose to "wear" a silk scarf by Canadian artist Aurel Schmidt, whose work is included in the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art.

In one of the pictures, Sevigny wears a white shirt and wraps this very silk scarf around her head. The scarf itself is one of a kind and comes from Aurel's work, retailing for $148, and is called the Trash Silk Scarf. Here's more:

In a few of the shots, all Chloë Sevigny is wearing is the silk scarf as she stands, presumably naked, holding the scarf up against her body. While the Trash scarf covers all the essentials up front, Sevigny is standing next to a mirror so her naked tush is reflected clearly.

Of course, it's not an accident, given that Sevigny used a hashtag, "We know sex sells!"

Fans were suitably grateful leaving her comments like:

Aurel Schmidt's painting on the Trash scarf is exactly that, "trash" and features thrown away food, bones, kitchen garbage, used hypodermic needles, plastic and cans, banana peels, apple cores, and all the stuff you see just laying around in an alley.

That said, Sevigny looks like a straight-up goddess, and here go the pictures of her looking super hot, scarf or not!

Chloë Sevigny is nothing if bold as she recently spoke to Variety, announcing that she hired only women to produce her short film "Kitty."

Said the actor-turned-director, "The more women in power we have, the better it is for us. I think it’s just important to surround yourself with as many women as possible. Sorry, I really love men, too. I love sleeping with men, I love hanging out with men, but I prefer working with ladies." Earlier, she also said that three major male directors had crossed the line with her during film auditions, so she has a valid reason for her decision.

Meanwhile, when she's not saying bold things, her fashion screams equally loudly for her. She's eclectic in her style, pairing complete opposites but making it work like soccer jerseys with delicate heels, boots with babydoll dresses, with random socks, belts, bags, and Miu Miu sets thrown in. Her nonchalance is not a style, it's just her because this "it girl" isn't trying to be cool, she just is. But you can't copy her style because only she can make things look good in combinations we would not even dare to dream of.

Over the years, her "cool" has just grown for who else but Sevigny would drape a scarf on herself and turn it into living art?
