As seen in the footage, the media personality queried the father of twelve about his future baby-making plans. The "Uncovered with Dr. Laura Berman" host wondered if there was any place for a "vasectomy" in the entertainer's life, answering her own question by claiming there was none.

However, the "Drumline" actor refuted her opinions, revealing he had considered getting the procedure. According to the San Diego native, he wished to be more "intentional" about his children instead of making babies without proper planning.

The Howard University graduate said: "You never know. I've definitely contemplated deeply. I no longer want to be careless. I wanna be a lot more intentional with life, especially when dealing with creating life."

The NAACP Image Award winner confessed then "Because I love all my children, but I probably wasn't intentional," adding that he left his children's conception to fate. "I was kind of like, 'Oh, if it happens, amazing. God's miracle.'"

After welcoming twelve children this way, the 42-year-old realized he could not continue to bring kids into the world without being able to spend quality moments with them. "For no matter how much money you make, you can't buy time," Cannon noted.

"So I wanna be intentional in all of their lives currently, and I don't want to spread anyone else thinner than they already are," the multi-hyphenate star declared, seemingly hinting that he would not be fathering new babies.

During an appearance on "The Howard Stern Show," the TV personality explained that he got a vasectomy consultation last year shortly after the announcement of his eighth child's conception. However, his decision was influenced by societal pressures.

"It's a scary thing," Cannon lamented when asked about the consultation. "I felt pressured. I felt the world was trying to make me get a vasectomy. I don't operate well under pressure. My body, my choice."

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award recipient added that he got vasectomy advice from strangers. The entertainer noted that he could be walking down the street when a random person would stop him and say: "'Man, you need to go get snipped?'"

The "Gigolo" rapper first aired his displeasure towards people's thoughts on his body while virtually appearing on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live special on December 31, 2022. When one of the hosts, Andy Cohen, asked the 42-year-old to consider getting a vasectomy, Cannon sourly replied: "Is that what you want me to get? This is my body, my choice!"

Referencing his beliefs, the "In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman" star compared the San Diego native's large brood to that of Abraham, noting that the biblical character also fathered multiple kids.

Cannon replied: "I’ve never heard that clarity, but I’ve heard, 'Yo, you’re going to be a father of many. You’re a great influence; your lineage, and your offspring are going to do great things.'"
