Teresa Giudice has asserted that there is no trouble in her and her husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas' marital paradise.
The television personality had to speak up after many allegations surfaced that her nearly year-long marriage was experiencing turbulence. The rumors began amid fans' concern over Ruelas' routine eyebrow-raising behavior, including his decision to wear his wife's late father's pajamas, a handful of angry on-camera tirades, and a recent harassment lawsuit filed by an ex-fiancée.
Teresa Giudice Has Confirmed That Her Marriage Is Not Collapsing Anytime Soon
It is no secret that the first year of marriage can be a trying process for many couples, as the new —albeit exciting— chapter comes with many life changes and challenges that often result in uncomfortable situations. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" viewers got a direct glimpse at this during the reality show's 13th season, which saw Giudice preparing to tie the knot with Ruelas.
The season, which began airing on Bravo in February, gave insight into the pair's relationship, and what viewers saw allowed them to speculate that the co-reality stars may be headed toward Splitsville. While Giudice would generally ignore the rumors, she had to address them when her "Namaste B$tches" co-host, Melissa Pfeister, brought the conversation up during the latest episode of their podcast.
"They're trying to say that your marriage is, like, shaky," Pfeister stated, prompting the Berkeley College graduate to insist that there was "no such thing" because she loved and adored him "so much."
"No, there's nothing shaky. Maybe we shake together when we dance, but that's about it. That's the only time we're doing any shaking, you know?" she quipped about her and her husband's relationship.
She then doubled down on the discussion, refuting the claims that her union reportedly being "on the rocks" was to build "a storyline" for the next season of "RHONJ." According to PEOPLE, the "Donnie Brasco" uncredited actress said:
"I don't need a storyline like that. I have a lot going on in my life. You know, I have my cooking channel, my YouTube cooking channel, that's doing amazing. I have my podcast with Melissa. I have a lot going on with the children."
Giudice's attempt at setting the record straight comes less than two months after The Blast noted that the company her husband founded and suspiciously stepped down from in 2022 was being investigated.
A letter from Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP, the firm of lawyers investigating Ruelas' business, known as Digital Media Solutions, Inc., surfaced online last month, and it began:
"Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP ("GPM") announces its investigation of Digital Media Solutions, Inc (NYSE: DMS) (f/k/a Leo Holdings Corp.) concerning the company and its directors and officers' possible violations of state laws." The letter then told investors:
"If you own Digital Media Solutions stock, would like to learn more about these claims, or have any questions concerning this announcement or your rights or interests concerning these matters, please contact Tom Kennedy of GPM."
The update has since caused a social media controversy, many alleging that Ruelas was pulling a 'Jen Shah.' In case you are unaware, Shah is a cast member of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," currently serving six-and-a-half year imprisonment after pleading guilty to a criminal conspiracy charge in July 2022.
The 'Standing Strong' Author Celebrated Her Daughter's College Graduation Online
The sad business story involving her man did nothing to stop Giudice from making an online spectacle when her daughter, Gia, officially graduated from college. The Blast observed at the time that the competitive bodybuilder posted a picture of the 22-year-old donning Rutgers University's graduation gown and cap on Instagram, along with the caption:
"I am so proud of my devoted and intelligent daughter, Gia, for graduating [from] a stellar university, a huge milestone to accomplish in life. Seeing you graduate college is one of the most special moments in my life. You definitely paved the path of success for your sisters, and you are an inspiration to them and me. I am so excited to see what your future holds."
She then declared that the criminal justice graduate was always a "leader" and a "determined individual who had "admirable" qualities. The mother-of-four wrapped up the effusive tribute, writing:
"I do not doubt you will do anything less than reach for the stars. I love you to infinity and beyond!💗🎓."
As expected, the celebratory post brought many congratulatory messages dedicated to Gia from her mother's supporters, including her fellow Housewives like Sheree Whitfield, Cynthia Bailey, Garcelle Beauvais, and Dolores Catania.
