Elizabeth Chambers Is Free Of The Shackles Of Marriage With Armie Hammer

Elizabeth Chambers's three-year wait is up! Her divorce is finalized, and she can move on to co-parenting with Armie Hammer.

The mom of two is likely happy to have this hurdle put in her past. She has settled her divorce. After three years of separation and back and forth with the courts to make it all happen, it’s over just like that!

The Blast suspected this would happen soon when we dropped our story last week about Hammer submitting his final declaration of disclosure on June 14. The Call Me By Your Name actor had turned over all the required financial information and disclosed everything he needs to settle his divorce.

That was the first bit of movement in the divorce since Chambers filed way back in 2020 after Hammer proved himself not to be the man she thought she married.

The Death on the Nile actor has been accused of some heinous things by more than one ex-girlfriend/mistress. They all maintain that Hammer was really into biting them and speaking about cannibalism.

He allegedly expressed an interest in devouring human flesh. It’s not a good look. Plus, he was accused of getting physical with some of his mistresses and one woman named Effie accused the actor of rape.

This Los Angeles Police Department investigated Hammer and the allegations of rape but eventually, the District Attorney decided against charging Hammer after finding “insufficient evidence” to charge him with rape. Hammer also denied the allegations.

Just ahead of the lockdown, Chambers packed up herself and her two children with Hammer; Harper, 8, and Ford, 6, and moved to the beautiful, small island. Hammer initially tried to force Chambers to come back to the U.S.

He failed and eventually moved back to the Island where he spent most of his time growing up. He was spending his time selling timeshares and seemingly re-evaluating his career as an actor seeing as he was dropped from a lot of projects after the news broke.

He appears to be back in Los Angeles now and has allegedly finished up a long-term treatment program for undisclosed issues.

Hammer spoke about his recovery to Air Mail. He is working as a sober companion apparently. “I’m going to move in with him and live with him, get him on a healthy routine, get him into a good schedule of [recovery] meetings, take him to the gym, cook healthy food for him.”

The Bird Bakery founder was the one who decided to call it quits from Hammer. She took to social media to share the news with her followers. “Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners, and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we've decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage.”

Meanwhile, Hammer may have a new job in the future if he’s good at his first go around as a sober companion. “It feels like my recovery has taken a turn from me being the one who needs help staying sober to me being able to help others. Twelve steps in action,” he says.
