Jonathan Majors & Meagan Good Hold Hands For His First Court Appearance In Assault Case

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good are taking their relationship to new heights! The pair appear serious about each other as they confidently stepped into court for the Marvel star's domestic violence case.

The actor and his beautiful girlfriend have been making headlines since rumors of their romance began a month ago. Although they are yet to confirm the dating speculations, the dynamic duo continues to appear as a couple.

Despite the Santa Barbara County native's ongoing battle for justice, the lovebirds' bond seems stronger than ever. The entertainers recently caused a stir by attending the "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" star's latest hearing in his assault dilemma.

The TV personalities stepped out as a united force for the 33-year-old's hearing at the Manhattan Criminal Court in New York City. The legal session took place on the morning of Tuesday, June 20, with Judge Rachel S. Pauley presiding over the case.

The "Lovecraft Country" star, who appeared virtually for last month's hearing, was supported by his special lady for his first physical appearance. The couple was spotted holding hands as they entered and exited the courthouse with the actor's defense team.

For the legal affair, the "Think Like A Man" actress donned a form-fitting nude dress underneath a blush pink jacket. The 41-year-old had her black shoulder-length hair styled into gentle waves and bangs while accessorizing with hoop earrings and a clutch purse.

Meanwhile, Majors kept it simple, wearing a brown jacket over a white dress shirt and matching brown pants. Like his girlfriend, the Santa Barbara County native shielded his eyes with shades, but he respectfully took them off while addressing the judge.

Per PEOPLE, The "Creed III" star reportedly stayed mute during the hearing, only speaking to greet Judge Pauley a good morning and acknowledge her order. The father of one was told to appear physically at the Manhattan Criminal Court in August.

The new date marked the beginning of the Saturn Award nominee's official assault trial. The legal umpire also instructed Majors to continue obeying the order of protection granted by the court to the alleged victim in the domestic violence case.

For those unaware, the "Da 5 Bloods" actor's former entanglement had accused him of physically assaulting her. Because of her claims, the entertainer was arrested on March 25 and slapped with harassment and misdemeanor charges.

Insisting her client was innocent, the Yale University alum's attorney Priya Chaudhry shared a passionate statement depicting her teams' complete confidence in absolving the actor of these false narratives. "Within a few weeks of these false allegations, we provided the District Attorney with evidence of Mr. Majors' innocence," the legal representative began.

"Last week, we delivered additional compelling evidence to the District Attorney. Following this, we strongly requested the District Attorney dismiss all charges against Mr. Majors immediately," Chaudhry continued, adding that they hoped the other party would be unbiased in their judgment. 

"While we are hopeful that the District Attorney is reviewing these materials in good faith and will do the right thing soon to accelerate our case, we've requested a trial date ASAP," the embattled Hollywood sensation's lawyer concluded.

While the fate of the Marvel star's assault case remains uncertain, the 33-year-old appeared unbothered by the legal affair as he enjoyed his relationship with Good. Days earlier, the couple sparked cohabitation rumors after shopping for home decor.

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award winner and the 41-year-old actress were spotted visiting the Modern Rugs store, a Los Angeles establishment allegedly responsible for selling lavish carpets of over $13,000.

For their sunny outing, the fashion-forward pair donned casual ensembles, with Majors rocking an all-black outfit consisting of a hoodie, sweatpants, and a baseball cap. On the other hand, the "Eve's Bayou" star donned gray biker shorts with a matching gray cardigan. Both the actor and actress completed their look with sneakers.

Although they were spotted inside the home decor store, it was unclear if the couple made any purchases. Their shopping date came weeks after the duo made their first international trip to Fez, Morocco. There, the lovebirds were seen at Art Naji, the country's biggest handmade factory shop of pottery, zellige, and Moroccan tiles.
