The city of Rome was graced with the presence of Tom Cruise and his crew at IMF for Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One. The film was open to critics, and a few lucky fans sharing their reviews, and it's all good.

The action pack films are coming to a close soon, and it's going out with a bang at the Rome Film Festival. The crowd was said to be ecstatic when their city appeared on the screen, with Cruise whipping through it on a motorcycle.

It sounds like a classic scene from the franchise over 20 years old. One thing that stood out quite a bit for fans who took to Twitter to address the issue was the new cast! They are seemingly happy with the roles the new cast play.

The film star is joined by people old and new to help him pick up where Fallout left off. Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Simon Pegg, Pom Kelmentieff, Shea Wigham, and Esai Morales. Plus more and some alleged surprise guests.

"Excellent new characters. Huge variety of activities and a final set piece that ranks top 2–3 all-time for the franchise," says Gizmodo and io9 writer Germain Lussier.

"Each action sequence is long, crazy & intense. The story is big & sprawling, but I like how it both felt complete & left you dying for what comes next," agrees Erik Davis of Rotten Tomatoes and other notable publications.

The movie was great, and the moment was great, but the audience did get a little flustered at the beginning for good reason.

The famous movie star showed up to the premiere of his film an hour and a half late. Cruise had a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. It wasn't planned and was very much impromptu, but it ticked people off.

They were 'entertained' with footage of red-carpet interviews on a loop, but that got old quickly. The audience at the Auditorium della Conciliazione had had enough. But once Cruise showed up, the mood shifted.

He was greeted with applause; no word on if he apologized when he took the stage, but thankfully, for him, it didn't sour the mood of the premiere long term.

The last installment of the movie left fans wondering what the hell is going on when their mission takes them to Julia, Ethan's (Tom Cruise's character) ex-wife. Seeing her; fans know she can be in danger yet again, thanks to Ethan.

Plus, Ethan has Ilsa Faust now, a woman he is very fond of and can hold her own, so she is probably a better fit for Ethan, who leads a dangerous life. It also featured Angela Bassett, who is initially against the IMF, describing them as grown men who run around in Halloween masks.

After insulting the cool-ass 3D-printed disguises, she changes her tune when Ethan saves the world again. The film hits theatres in July, where a new impossible challenge will undoubtedly throw the team into unreasonable scenarios.
