John Legend isn’t entertaining competitors for his wife Chrissy Teigen’s heart!
The A-list couple tied the knot in 2013. Years after, the duo welcomed three kids, Luna, Miles, and Esti. The twosome have countlessly treated themselves to date nights, leaving fans swooning over their romance.
Recently, Teigen enjoyed a date, and this time, it wasn’t with her husband. Instead, it was with one of their furry friends, Petey, causing Legend to react. And from the looks of it, the Grammy winner is slightly jealous!

The mom of three took to Instagram, flaunting that she had a date with her big furry friend Petey. She announced with hot pictures of her in a radiant yellow dress and her date partner by her side.
The lovely dress stopped past her knees, putting her flawless long legs on display. The dress had a plunging V-neckline and unique cut-out sleeves. For the occasion, the model’s face was perfectly glammed, and her hair was styled into a bun, with two tendrils falling to the sides of her face. She finished her date look with a pair of yellow strappy heels, matching her dress.
Teigen and Petey’s poses for the snaps were enough to make anyone jealous, let alone Teigen’s husband. In the first slide, the model posed in what looked like her kitchen alongside her pet buddy on the floor. The next photo showed the cookbook author and her furry friend, who stood on his hind legs, almost kissing each other.
The last two images added to the slideshow were of the TV personality cuddling adorable pups that were up for adoption through Wags and Walks Rescue.
In the caption, the former Sports Illustrated model announced, “Day date with my big boy, Petey! the beauties (and many more!) on my last two slides are up for adoption from wonderful @wagsandwalks rescue!!” The post received over 60,000 likes and hundreds of comments from fans.
Teigen’s sweetheart, Legend, couldn’t help but hint at his jealousy at the bond his wife and Petey share. He wrote in the comments under the post, “Ok y’all are a cute couple or whatever.” For those unaware, the couple is fond of dogs, and Petey is one of the six dogs the A-list couple has.
Petey, whom they adopted in January 2020, is named after the parakeet from the 1994 film “Dumb and Dumber.” Others include Puey, Penny, Pearl, Pebbles, and Pepper. They previously had an English Bulldog named Puddy, who sadly passed away at ten years old in 2018. Puddy was married to Pippa, one of their French bulldogs.

While Teigen enjoyed a date with their dog, she has enjoyed several date nights with her handsome husband. One such was in April when the lovebirds had a romantic time in Venice without their kids.
The 30-year-old mom posted on Instagram photos from the sweet time she had with her husband. From the pictures uploaded, the duo, per usual, looked super hot for the occasion. The first snap on the slideshow gave a full view of the pair’s outfit for the night.
The “Cravings” author brought the heat, channeling Sue Ellen Mischke, a character from “Seinfeld,” who openly wears her bra out after maintaining a reputation for not wearing one.
Teigen donned a lacy bra, which spotlighted her assets, and paired it with an unbuttoned black blazer and a stylish flowing skirt. The skirt had a mini sequin skirt and a sheer long slip underneath it. She wore her hair in a loose bun, with two tendrils falling to her face, and kept her makeup minimal.
The EGOT winner was also dressed to the nines. He donned a double-breasted trench coat alongside matching trousers and a polka-dot shirt. The handsome singer topped his elegant look with a pair of Oxford shoes. Additional pictures from the romantic getaway included a selfie of the lovebirds in an elevator and photos of the model getting ready for the outing.
“Sue Ellen Mischke takes Italy,” Teigen captioned the post. In no time, the post received love from fans who couldn’t stop gushing about the duo. The “Stereos” hitmaker also dropped a comment. He shared several heart-eyes emojis before admitting, “I love a date night.”
