Cardi B is unhappy with her current look as she has trouble gaining weight two years after welcoming her second child, Wave.  

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper, no fan of being skinny, recently told the world of her predicament, revealing how many pounds she hoped to gain.

Cardi B Says She Wants To Gain Her Weight Back In New Insta Story Post 

Cardi has a new goal in sight — adding more weight! She took to Instagram to cry out to her fans about being underweight which has not happened to her in a while.

In her latest Insta Story posts, she filmed herself standing on a scale, indicating 135.9 pounds as her current weight. Gesturing at the scale with her manicured nails, she said, "I haven't been this underweight in so long. I like to be at least 140. I wish I were 145. I need to gain my weight back. I need to drink my Apetamin."

The "Up" songstress dropped a second post featuring a picture of herself looking thicker and with a message implying that was her dream weight. She was captured wearing an off-white knee-length long-sleeved dress hugging her curves in all the right places while walking in a stadium surrounded by bodyguards.  

"This is me at 148. where I want to be!" Cardi B exclaimed at the bottom of the post. Being skinny is not something the superstar takes lightly, as she once spoke about how much it affected her psychologically.

In November 2018, she admitted via an Instagram Live session that she was feeling "depressed" because of her weight loss following the birth of her first child Kulture.

At the time, PEOPLE reported that while Cardi B could not control the changes, she disclosed that immediately after giving birth, she did everything to lose her baby weight, including drinking the weight loss tea Teami. The tea seemed to have worked wonders in curbing her appetite, but she eventually became dissatisfied with losing all the baby weight as it made her look "too skinny," which she disliked.

Shedding more light on her distaste for being underweight, she shared, "I used to look too skinny as a teenager, and I used to hate it, and I hate it now."  "It's been depressing me, making me sad," the "WAP" rapper added. "My weight. You know what I'm saying."

Unfortunately, gaining weight was not going so well for her as she felt stressed and had no appetite, even with how hard she tried and how badly she wanted it. "I want to gain weight so badly," Cardi B confessed. "I'm trying to gain weight, y'all, and it's been hard, and I don't know how."

She said, "After I gave birth, I was so thirsty to lose all the baby weight, and now it's so hard for me to gain weight, and I hate it." Her parents also tried to show their support by urging her to eat more, but that did not work, as the more they compelled her, the more she lost her appetite.

About a month before the Live session, the "Girls Like You" rapper complained about her weight when she called herself a "skinny momma."

The NYC Native Stretches An Hour Daily To Be As Flexible As When She Was A Stripper 

Not only does Cardi B want her weight back, but she also wants to be as flexible as she was before becoming a mom. Back in April, she told her TikTok fans how she planned on regaining her flexibility by stretching for an hour daily.

She explained in the clip, "I want to be able to be as flexible as I was before I had my son [Wave, 19 months], but my real goal is to be as stretchable and flexible as I was when I was a stripper. But whew, you can't build Rome in a day. But can you?"

In addition to stretching, she works out two hours daily, and her daughter accompanies her to the gym. The video update gave the Grammy winner's followers a glimpse into her typical everyday life as a regular exercising mom, including some of her doing the splits and several stretches.

Before stretching, Cardi B was seen working out with a personal trainer in the gym, and she explained why, stressing that she needed toned thighs and wanted to keep her visceral fat in check despite liposuction.
