The Marvel’s “Eternals” actress has been making headlines for another reason, as she appeared in one of the new “Black Mirror” episodes that recently dropped on Netflix. At an event for the new episodes, Salma promoted her new episode in front of a live audience while wearing a sparkling sleeveless dress.
“I hope that everybody who watches the first episode of ‘Joan is Awful’ on @netflix new season of Black Mirror loses their mind as much as everyone in the audience of the screening in New York,” she wrote in the caption.
She also repeated her message in Spanish, writing, “Espero que todos los que vean el primer episodio ‘Joan is Awful’ de la nueva temporada de @netflix de Black Mirror pierdan la cabeza tanto como todos los espectadores de la proyección en Nueva York.”
Although some fans are excited to watch the new season of “Black Mirror,” other followers were more excited by her gorgeous dress. “How beautiful you are, pretty princess,” one fan commented. “Gorgeous as ever! And what a beautiful dress,” another follower wrote. “Your beauty is truly limitless,” a third fan gushed.
Salma Hayek Was 'Shocked' When She Read Her 'Black Mirror' Script!
Just last week, the 56-year-old actress appeared on “Good Morning America” to talk about the “bizarre” opportunity to play herself on the sixth season of the anthology series. "I was shocked when I read the script -- I was shocked that my name was in it," she said. "It's kind of like a parody of me ... I have a very good sense of humor about myself."
"Maybe not everything that's on the screen is a real Salma, but it allowed me to be the real Salma by doing the parody of myself," she continued. "It's humbling, you know? But also it gives you the freedom to be very bold about things you would never do in real life but that has crossed your mind, here and there. It gave me that permission to be extra, extra, extra."
Salma also confessed that she "fell in love" with her co-star, "Schitt's Creek" star Annie Murphy. "I just loved being this crazy version of myself for her, with her," she said, adding that she loved “an opportunity to make fun” of herself.”
The "House of Gucci" actress also talked about her 15-year-old daughter Valentina’s desire to become both an actress and a director. “That would have been a disaster if you are in this business and your kid wants to do that and has no talent. That's the kiss of death because they're gonna resent you forever,” Salma said. “But she's so talented ... so if she wants to do that, I'm proud of her."
Salma went on to say, "I feel like she's been acting and directing since she was 2, especially directing," before describing her daughter as "amazing."
