Montel Williams Worried About Kanye West's Mental Health During Lunch with President Trump

Montel Williams is trying to find a positive thing about President Trump meeting with Kanye West for lunch, but he just can't do it.

The legendary talk show host was in NYC when he was asked about the Trump/West Summit set for this week. Williams, who says he has not been very open about his own issues with mental health, finds it odd that Trump would meet with Kanye while the rapper deals with his own mental issues.

Williams says he "finds it difficult" for a person who has "no depth of knowledge trying to speak as an expert," and is unsure how exactly input from the rapper will benefit Trump and provide actual change.

However, Williams does have glowing comments for Kanye's longtime frenemy, Taylor Swift, and her recent political comments. He says the Swift effect on voter registration is definitely a good thing.
