'Fox & Friends' Host Ainsley Earhardt Slapped with Divorce Papers by Hubby of Six Years

"Fox & Friends" host Ainsley Earhardt has been hit with divorce papers by her husband of six years.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, William Proctor filed for divorce on Wednesday in Manhattan Supreme Court. New York divorce filings are sealed.

Earhardt had released a statement on Tuesday announcing the split, saying, "After much prayer and careful consideration, Will and I have separated."

She continued, "I am grateful to Fox for their support and allowing me to spend all day, everyday after the morning show with my child. I am fully committed to parenting and doing what is always best for my darling, little girl and would appreciate privacy and prayers during this difficult time.”

We're told Ainsley claims Proctor was unfaithful with one of her closest friends a few years ago.

Her estranged husband – a former Clemson University quarterback — wasted no time and filed the legal papers to make it official.

The two share one kid together and this was Earhardt’s second marriage.
