The aforementioned joint press release between Archwell Audio reads in part, "Spotify and Archwell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together..." According to Vanity Fair, the dissolution of Prince Harry and Markle's deal proceeds layoffs from Gimlet, which the publication reports was the studio that had been affiliated with the couple's deal.

The publication also shares the dissolution of the deal had nothing to do with these 200 layoffs, per Variety.

The couple reportedly did not reach the "productivity benchmark that would lead to the full payout." The partnership between the duo and Spotify was reportedly worth $20 million. (via Vanity Fair)

The dissolution of the couple's deal, however, doesn't mean the end of Markle behind a mic. She is allegedly planning to "develop more audio content," the outlet reports per the WSJ.

"Meghan is continuing to develop more content for the 'Archetype' audience on another platform," the newspaper reported.

The last episode of "Archetypes" aired last November and features Bravo's Andy Cohen and Judd Apatow as guests, along with Trevor Noah. The foursome discussed the act of moving past various societal stereotypes. Markle uses her two male guests to get the male perspective on how they can help combat these stereotypes.
