The new "Bachelor In Paradise" season has officially begun filming, and everyone's favorite bartender, Wells Adams, is taking fans behind the scenes.
The cast is only on day two, but there seems to be nothing short of drama.
What's Happening On The Beach?
Wells Adams took to Instagram to share a minor update about "Bachelor In Paradise" season 9, saying, "Day number two of Bachelor in Paradise 9 update: It's official, the beach has been taken over by a bunch of Gen Zers who are using words that I don't know what they mean at all, so I'm going to give you a rundown."
The fan-favorite bartender went on to show his age, saying there are a lot of words and phrases that the cast uses that he has no idea what it means. "There's a lot of talk about vibes -- good vibes, bad vibes, the vibes are off, I don't know," he shared.
"What?! Also, keys are being thrown out a bunch," he added. "There are high and low keys, and I low-key don't know what the f-ck you're talking about."
"Flags" are also a "big thing" on the beach this year, not just red flags. "I'm talking about red, green, and beige flags," Adams said. "Beige flags are a flag that isn't a problem. It's just like a quirk of your character."
But that's not all because Adams heard one phrase that completely blew his mind. "I heard someone say yesterday, 'I'm confused.' Those were the exact words that came out of their mouth. 'I'm confused...' What?!"
Although Adams did not name names, there have been rumors that former "Bachelor" alum and "Bachelorette" lead Rachel Recchia will be part of this season of "Bachelor In Paradise." Other names that have been rumored include Gabi Elnicki, who was on Zach Shallcross's season of "The Bachelor" and Johnny DePhillipo, who appeared on Gabby Windey's season of "The Bachelorette" and the last season of "Bachelor In Paradise."
Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland
Luckily, Wells Adams no longer has to look for love as he found it with his wife, "Modern Family" actress, and "Love Island USA" hot Sarah Hyland.
The two first met on social media in 2017 when the "Bachelor in Paradise" star slid into Hylands's DMs. The couple decided to go public with their relationship later that year and then engaged two years later. Unfortunately, the two had to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"As soon as we went into lockdown, I was like, 'We're not getting married this year,'" Hyland told E! News in 2021. "And Wells, the eternal optimist, was like, 'What are you talking about? This is only a couple weeks.' And I was like, 'Nah, brah. We're not getting married this year; it's not happening.' He thought I was being negative. I was like, 'No, no, no. I'm just being realistic.'
Last August, the two finally tied the knot in a romantic outdoor ceremony at Sunstone Winery near Santa Barbara, California. Several members of Bachelor Nation attended the wedding, including Ben Higgins, Nick Viall, Chris Soules, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Jason Tartick, Joe Amabile, Evan Bass, and former host "Bachelor" Chris Harrison.
