Jamie Lee Curtis definitely has something to brag about.
The new “Halloween” flick slashed through the franchise’s previous records, raking in $77.5 million and shattering the previous record held by Rob Zombie’s $26 million opening weekend.
To celebrate, Ms. Laurie Strode herself took to Twitter to share her excitement and drop a little humble brag.

“I’m going for one BOAST post,” Curtis began. “Biggest horror movie opening with a female lead. Biggest movie opening with a female lead over 55. Second biggest October movie opening ever. Biggest Halloween opening ever #womengetthingsdone.”
Congrats, Ms. Strode!
