YouTube Star Christen Dominique Settles $3 Million Lawsuit With Ex-Business Partner

YouTube star Christen Dominique has reached a deal to end the battle with her former business partner over a beauty line deal gone south.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the YouTube star’s ex-business partner, Ready Go Licensing, says an “amicable resolution of their differences” has been reached and, as a result, the entire case will be dismissed.

As The Blast first reported, Ready Go Licensing sued Christen Dominique, Inc. accusing the YouTube beauty guru of breaking a licensing deal they had with her.

Ready Go entered into a deal with Dominique to sell makeup and fashion under the "Christen Dominique" brand.

According to Ready Go, the licensing agreement called for them to manage and operate the merchandising business and invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into marketing and promoting the brand. They handled all the manufacturers' agreements, negotiated agreements with cosmetic companies and handled developing the website.

In July, they claim Dominique sent them a letter terminating their agreement accusing them of two breaches. One of them involved an employee of one vendor mentioning their company was working on the brand and another was about Ready Go allegedly providing information to a third party.

Ready Go claimed neither of the alleged breaches constituted a violation of their deal and did not allow Dominique to terminate their agreement. They claimed she owed them $71,748.86 from the licensing agreement and caused a vendor to withhold $150k owed to them.

They were seeking damages in excess of $3 million.
