Donna D’Errico Shares Footage Climbing Mount Ararat Despite 'Really Bad Fall'

Actress Donna D'Errico has a few hidden talents up her sleeve!
In addition to being an actress and model, she is also a nature-lover who loves hiking and climbing. On Tuesday afternoon, she took to Instagram to share new footage that featured her climbing Mount Ararat and managing to push through a "really bad fall" that she sustained on her climbs.

On Tuesday afternoon, the “Frank and Penelope” actress took to Instagram to share a post that featured three slides, all containing clips from ABC News that feature her climbing Mount Ararat. The hike itself is dangerous, as Donna explains, since there is no running water in the area.
“ABC and Christiane Amanpour did an amazing job on this multi-part documentary that aired first on ABC then CNN and is now available on DVD,” she wrote in the caption. “Here are some clips from the portion about me. I’m guessing most of you guys aren’t aware of this side of me.”
“My climbing partner and I live up on the mountain at around 12,000 ft in tents for two weeks while on expedition (it takes us 2 days to reach that level and make our base camp, then we climb up from that point),” she explained.
Donna Is About To Do Her Fifth Climb In A Few Months!
“This is no sport climb… we are there doing research. The mountain is unexplored and dangerous,” she explained. “There are no toilets, no running water, no baths, and we carry everything on our backs. No horses carry our stuff. Just us.”
“My pack weighs over 40 pounds and I’m a very small person. The air is very thin up there. I had a really bad fall and was banged up, plus no shower for two weeks,” she revealed. “It’s not about glamour, which is why this post won’t be popular on here. And that’s okay! I’m sharing it anyway.”
Donna revealed that she has climbed it four times now and is going to be making her fifth climb in a couple of months. She wrapped up her post by encouraging her followers to “Keep your dreams alive.”
