Dakota and Elle Fanning Donate to GoFundMe for Sick Model Friend

Dakota Fanning and her sister Elle Fanning are stepping up to help a friend in need.
The Fannings have donated $1,000 and $250, respectively, to the GoFundMe account for their friend, model Imogen Ker. According to her page, Ker needs the money "for my laparoscopic surgery to remove an endometrioma off my ovary and the removal of endometriosis on surrounding areas."
Dakota Fanning posted on Wednesday about Ker's predicament, writing, "My sweet Idge. One of my best friends for the last ten years. More like one of my sisters. She has been there for me on my darkest days with open arms and never a drop of judgement [sic]."
Fanning continued, "She’s having surgery for endometriosis on Friday. I would love, if you’re moved to, that you check out her gram to learn about her journey, and simply get to know what a beautiful woman she is, inside and out. @imogen_ker I love you forever and always."

Lena Dunham, who has dealt with the same condition as Ker, responded to Fanning's post and offered her assistance.
"What a beauty - I am here as a resource @imogen_ker (I have really done every version of this imaginable and I know things!) drink water honey," Dunham wrote.
Ker made headlines back in 2014 when it was rumored she was dating "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson.
