According to Daily Mail, Schumer emphasized the importance of authenticity and openness: "You are on Ozempic or one of those things, or you got work done. Just stop [hiding their use of the Type II diabetes drug.]. Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo."

The comedian admitted that she had tried Ozempic approximately a year ago and initially noticed immediate results. However, she found the side effects unbearable and unsuitable as a weight loss solution. "I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn't play with my son," Schumer shared. "I was so skinny, and he's throwing a ball at me, and [I couldn't]."

Before Schumer, several other stars shared their Ozempic stories, with some revealing regret while others defended the medication.
