Rachel Recchia, 26, first rose to fame after appearing on Clayton Echard's season of "The Bachelor."
She got her heart broken not once but twice within the "Bachelor" franchise. First, she went through a public breakup after Clayton Echard blindsided Recchia and Gabby Windey during a chaotic rose ceremony. Then, she and Windey became co-Bachelorettes, and Recchia got engaged to Tino Franco. However, just a few weeks after their engagement, the two began having some relationship trouble, and Franco cheated on Recchia, which they called off their attention.
Now, the former "Bachelorette" lead is sharing advice on moving on after a bad breakup.
How Does Rachel Recchia Move On From A Bad Breakup?
During a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories, Recchia opened up about a bad breakup and how to move forward. "I am so sorry to hear this," she said on her Stories. "My heart goes out to you and anyone else hurting. After going through many breakups, this has helped me the most."
"Let yourself be sad for as long as you want," she continued. "Allow those who love you to care for and baby you. Unfollow/mute/block on social media."
Recchia admitted she doesn't delete pictures of her exes on social media, "But I try to avoid shopping for pain (aka looking them up)."
The former "Bachelorette" also admitted that following these rules can be difficult, especially after "a couple of glasses of wine." Still, she advises her fans and followers to try their best.
Lastly, Recchia said, "And the most important thing for me, if you can, forgive them," she noted. "Forgiveness and time heal everything."
Will Rachel Recchia Go To "Bachelor In Paradise"?
On the "Bachelorette: After the Finale Rose" episode, the 26-year-old announced that Tino Franco, the n who proposed to her during the finale, cheated on her weeks after the two got engaged. Although the two tried to talk things out and get some answers, ultimately, the two ended on a rough note and did not work anything out.
Recchia has been single ever since, although many fans hope to see her on the beach this summer for the upcoming "Bachelor In Paradise" season.
Rumors are circulating that Recchia does show up to the beach this summer. In the past, the 26-year-old said she would do "Paradise," saying, "I will go to 'Paradise' if Michelle [Young] goes with me. I will not go without her!"
Young then chimed in, saying, "We'll see. We'll keep talking about it. We have our own 'Paradise' when we travel and try to find Mr. Right. Who knows, we might find our husbands in Italy. But I would definitely go down and deliver a date card."
At this time, rumors say Young does not go to "Paradise," but fans will have to wait and see what goes down this summer when "Bachelor In Paradise" airs later this year.
