P! nk reminded concertgoers about the one activity keeping her marriage alive while kicking off the United Kingdom leg of her Summer Carnival World Tour on Wednesday.
While the famous singer and her husband Carey Hart's devotion to each other is relatable and inspiring, it has not always been an easy journey. They have worked through the years to make their relationship work, with the "Try" vocalist often crediting therapy as a helpful tactic for them, especially regarding effective communication.
P! nk & Carey Hart Have Remained In Therapy To Help Their Marriage.
Throughout their 17-year marriage, P! nk and Carey have shared many memories and special moments through touring the world, makings of music videos, and cheering each other on their dreams.
Now, the couple is going through a different phase of navigating their relationship while undergoing even more counseling. According to Daily Mail, the "Just Give Me A Reason" hitmaker shared the news with the overflowing crowd at the University of Bolton Stadium when she stated:
"This is what they teach in marriage counselling: Remorse, regret, resolution. I'll start that tomorrow."
That blip did not stop Hart from cheering their daughter, Willow Sage Hart when she joined her mom on stage during the UK opening night of her tour. The proud daddy uploaded a view of the unforgettable moment on Instagram with the caption:
"So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama @pink!!!!! Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage. Looks like 1st show of the tour kicked ass!!!!! Can't wait to catch up end of this month and see for myself. Summer is grind time."
Summer has always held a special meaning for the "Runaway" and her motocross beau as they first met at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia in August 2001. Although the ESPN-produced extreme sporting occasion ended with Hart getting hospitalized after falling 35 feet while trying a mid-air flip on his bike, his relationship with the vocalist improved his life.
The pair dated for about two years before deciding to split in 2003, with Pink addressing it in a song called "Love Song," where she talked about the fears surrounding falling in love. The lyrics must have resonated with her man because barely a year later, the duo reunited.
Hart followed the reconciliation with a proposal and got a resounding "yes" from the 43-year-old at the Pro 250 class finals 2005. They made their union official at the Four Seasons resort in Costa Rica in front of 100 loved ones in 2006.
Unfortunately, before the marriage could hit its second-year milestone, Hart and P! nk announced they were breaking up. The "Happy Two Feet" voice actress' publicist shared at the time:
"Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."
As expected, they could not stay away from each other for too long, and by April 2009, the former motorcycle racer and his wife revealed their plans to work on their marriage. By May 2009, their divorce plans were thrown out the window, and by June 2011, they had welcomed Willow.
The lovebirds welcomed their second child and first son, Jameson Moon Hart, in December 2016. Throughout their long-lasting relationship, Pink has credited Hart as her musical "muse," even claiming that he inspired her album "Beautiful Trauma."

Hart showed off his softer side during the commemoration of this year's Mother's Day with a sweet Instagram tribute to Pink. The Blast reported that the 47-year-old hunk shared three images that featured the pop star with their two children alongside the caption:
"Happy Mother's Day to Mama @pink . Truly, the best I've ever seen do it. The kids and I are so lucky to have you. There is no hoop too big to jump through. Sometimes[I] don't know how you do it all, but I know we are grateful."
In the first photo, the "So What" hitmaker posed outdoors with Willow and Jameson in front of a white building with a terrace and purple flowers. Other slides showed solo snaps of the kids, with the teenage girl wearing a blue gown, matching trainers, and a wristwatch and her brother donning a black long-sleeve shirt and an oversized snapback cap.
Multiple fans promptly appreciated the post, with this one typing in the comments, "Family goals right there, beautiful family," and a second exclaiming, "Happy Mother's Day to Alecia!! One half of an amazing parenting team!"
