Britney Spears Deletes Her Instagram After Airing 'Family Issues'

Singer Britney Spears has deleted her Instagram account after forgetting to turn comments off on a photo of actor Brad Pitt.

The post even got the attention of her husband, actor Sam Asghari, who joked that the "Bullet Train" actor was trying to seduce the 41-year-old pop star.

However, it seems that the "Hold Me Closer" singer might have gotten too much attention on the post, and instead of just deleting the post or turning comments off, she decided to delete her Instagram page entirely.

On Thursday afternoon, Britney’s Instagram page was no longer available. In its place was a message that said “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram.”

The “Oops!...I Did It Again” singer has deleted her Instagram account several times in the past and fans never know just how long she will be gone. The last time she deleted her Instagram account, though, fans called the cops to perform a welfare check, which has made the singer think twice about deleting it in the past.

However, it seems that she might have been too overwhelmed with the comments on her latest Instagram post, which told a story about her uncle that fans dubbed “weird” and “strange.” She shared a photo of actor Brad Pitt along with her caption as an example of what her uncle looked like.

Although the Instagram post in question isn't available right now, the "Toxic" singer began her post by discussing her family and calling them "beautiful." She has been estranged from her parents for years, and even told them to "burn in hell" in one since-deleted Instagram post.

“We all have our family issues but I do have a beautiful family !!! My mom and dad were a stunning couple when they were young … like shocking attractive !!!” she began. “I’m sharing this picture because he looks so much like my uncle, it’s kind of creepy !!! My dad’s two brothers lived with us when I was growing up.”

“When I was 2, the one that is identical to this picture helped potty train me … my miniature baby toilet was bright yellow but one day when I sat down, there was a crack in the seat and it cut my little booty !!! All I remember was he picked me up, we looked in the mirror together and he said ‘don’t cry’ !!!”

“Anyone else think it’s strange that an uncle would potty train his niece? And then she would randomly post about it decades later?” one fan asked. “Sorry, Brit… but weird post,” another fan commented. “That’s just f—ing weird,” another fan agreed.

“The fact of the comments for THIS are on for this and not any other post as of recently really blows my mind. I don’t know what to make of that,” another follower chimed in. “Y’all are about to remind her why she keeps the comments off,” another fan shared.

Other fans were confused why she would share a picture of Brad Pitt, while other users speculated that the man in the photo looked more like Kurt Cobain. However, Sam confirmed that it was Brad Pitt with a comment that left fans with more questions.

Britney's husband, actor Sam Asghari, joined the millions of fans commenting on her post, writing, “Brad stop seducing my wife with your luscious [sic] long blonde hair.” Although some people responded to the comment with "LOL" and messages of agreement, other followers accused Sam of writing the post himself.

“I am so confused. It’s clear that Britney needs serious medical attention. But what in the world is your comment about? Brad Pitt is seducing her by looking like the uncle that weirdly potty-trained his niece? None of this makes any sense,” one follower commented. Another bluntly told Sam to “f— off.”

It remains to be seen how long Britney's Instagram hiatus will last.
