'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' is what comes to mind when we heard Jennifer Coolidge's recent revelation about "The White Lotus."
The 61-year-old, who played the role of Tanya McQuoid until she was killed off in the second season finale, wants the worst possible outcome for Greg Hunt [played by Jon Gries] — her on-screen husband in the hit series.
Greg's continuous arrangement to get his hands on his wife's wealth eventually manifested when she fell overboard from a yacht and could not bring herself to safety during an Italian trip.
Jennifer Coolidge Wants The Worst End For Her On-Screen Husband
Even though she will not appear in the upcoming third season of "The White Lotus," Coolidge knows precisely how she wants her death avenged on the award-winning series. During a conversation that came about as a part of Variety's "Actors on Actors" series, the 61-year-old actress told "Shameless" actor Jeremy Allan White:
"My hope for Jon is that he's not finished with Greg. I hope there's some comeuppance for evil Greg. I think he should, I don't know, end up in a meat-grinding machine."
She described that the series creator Mike White "was looking for a big Italian opera ending, and it was big and dramatic," adding that he wanted her character to "die for many reasons." She also admitted:
"But I also think Tanya's a lot. Maybe people would get sick of her on another season. Maybe people would be like, 'Oh, my God. Get rid of Tanya!'"
The "2 Broke Girls" alum remarked that if her character "could come back in any form," it could be as a seagull that will "poke Greg's eyes out." Her desire to see vengeance enacted is not far-fetched, as Tanya's death could have been avoided if her husband was not so desperate to get her wealth.
She went on a shooting spree when she discovered his latest scheme to kill her aboard a luxury yacht, successfully eliminating the agents placed on the boat to assassinate her.
Unfortunately, Tanya mistakenly slipped off the boat's edge as she prepared to escape to the hotel. Speaking on the entire scene, Coolidge revealed that she had no plans on ever "getting on a boat again."
The "Shotgun Wedding" actress further clarified that she was "creeped out" by the events "because we did shoot it in order, hanging out with the guys." She concluded:
"When you're on a boat, and you're in the middle of the ocean, and there is nowhere to go, what if your cast mates hate you? They could just push you. Anyone can get rid of you on a boat."

The Blast observed that the Primetime Emmy Awards recipient opened up about the missing ingredient in her love life earlier this year. The actress disclosed during an interview that she has remained single to date because she has not found the "right" person yet. In her words:
"I mean, [in] my dating life, I've never found anyone quite right for myself. I haven't found the love of my life."
Since she knew where to lay the blame, Coolidge expressed, "I think I made some bad decisions. It makes you insecure, and you don't think you're great." The Critics Choice Television Awards winner further explained:
"Many people can come up to you at the airport … people come up when they have nothing else to do, they say very nice things to you, and people in Hollywood come up and say 'You're great,' but the only way you know they mean it is if you give you a job."
While she waits to see if true love will ever find her, Coolidge has her career to keep her busy and a slew of awards to show that she has her head in the game. In January, she most notably received the Golden Globe nod for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series/Anthology On television. When she climbed the stage to give her acceptance speech, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts alum effused:
"I was surprised at how I spilled my guts!" she told the publication about her acceptance speech. "I was standing in front of that crowd, and I forgot where I was. I was saying a lot of my feelings. I wasn't trying to be funny — I was being serious."
The crowd was definitely excited to see her win the award, especially since she lost her first nomination to Julia Garner for "Ozark."
