Disney Shares Inside Look At New 'Frozen' Ride Coming Soon

Arendelle: World of Frozen is set to open up its gates later this year at Hong Kong Disneyland, allowing Guests to see fan-favorite characters from the film and ride "Frozen"-themed attractions, including Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs roller coaster — a ride that will take Guests on a journey through Arendelle after they pay a visit to Oaken's famous store.

Guests will also ride Frozen Ever After, a sister attraction to the current EPCOT version. Now, Disney is sharing an inside look at the upcoming draw.

The Walt Disney Company is in the final stages of completing World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland. As they near competition, the Parks share a new look at the soon-to-be attraction, Frozen Ever After.

"We just couldn't let this moment go ❄️," Disney shared. "In celebration of @WaltDisneyImagineering completing another round of test rides on Frozen Ever After at #WorldofFrozen, we're sharing an ALL-NEW #FirstLookFromHKDL!"

The company continued, "Before reaching the royal deck for a boat ride to Elsa's palace, you'll pass the office of Kristoff, who's now the Official Ice Master & Deliverer of Arendelle. Upon completing your journey, Anna, Elsa, and Olaf will be waiting to welcome voyagers back from their visit to the North Mountain. We can't wait until the gate opens this November at @HKDisneyland!"

Not long ago, Disney also shared a first look at Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs, the other new attraction coming to World of Frozen. Select Disney Cast Members could test ride the new coaster, sharing, "It's a wonderful addition to Hong Kong Disneyland. It's going to bring this whole land to life."

Another Cast Member described Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs as "unbelievable" before adding that he cannot wait to ride it again.

Earlier this year, Disney Parks shared some exciting news about the World Of Frozen Land, explaining that the project team "has taken immersive storytelling to the next level."

"The entire themed land is a recreation of the kingdom of Arendelle, drawing upon the natural landscape of Lantau Mountain behind Hong Kong Disneyland as a backdrop," Disney shared. "In creating World of Frozen, we envision making this land a living and authentic Arendelle where guests can step into the cinematic scenes from the 'Frozen' movies. We recreated iconic landmarks of Arendelle that will instantly resonate with the fans of 'Frozen' and all guests alike."

One of the attractions included in World of Frozen will be Frozen Ever After, a sister attraction to EPCOT's version, which is described as, "Find a seat aboard your boat and let the lapping waters take you through a frozen willow forest. Soon, you'll be rubbing shoulders with some "boulders"—a.k.a. Kristoff's family from Troll Valley—before bracing for the cold. Elsa's enchanting ice palace awaits high up in the icy blue world of the North Mountain. Behold the wonder… and watch for Anna, Olaf, and a few more Frozen friends. This enchanting 'Summer Snow Day' celebration with many of your favorite Frozen tunes is sure to melt even the coldest hearts!"

The gates to World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland will open in November of 2023. An exact date has yet to be released.
