Kim Cattrall has had a change of heart about going under the knife.
For the longest time, the actress has openly denounced using plastic surgery to halt the physical evidence of aging, claiming that she wanted to "embrace aging" because she found it "interesting." However, it seems she has adjusted her purview as she recently disclosed that going under the knife did not appear as bad as she thought.

Kim Cattrall Divulged The Reason She Is Now Open To Anti-Aging Procedures
Although over a decade since Cattrall first shared her thoughts on plastic surgery, the British and Canadian star has maintained her openness about the subject now that her mindset is shifting.
Thus, the "Glamourous" star had no shame as she told The Times during a new interview that her stance had changed. Beginning the conversation, the "Sex and the City" alum, who is set to reprise her character in a cameo appearance on season two of the franchise's remake, stated:
"I'm in my sixties now, and I'm all about battling aging in every way I can. There are fillers, Botox; there's so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it's for you."
She explained that taking these measures went beyond being "a vanity thing," and since she played "a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way," she was "looking after" herself professionally. And that, for her, translated to looking "like the best version" of herself.
Despite that, the 66-year-old beauty is unwilling to carelessly take the abovementioned treatments. The Glamour Awards winner noted that connecting with the "right surgeon" for such procedures was essential. In her words:
"It can't be emphasized enough. You want to look like you!"
Cattrall had previously opened up about her experience as an aging woman in Hollywood during the 2020 promotion for the drama series, "Filthy Rich," when she expressed:
"In my 50s, I felt things slipping away. It was a gradual change, but the scripts were cut in half. [In Hollywood] you're either an ingenue or a leading lady and then a divorced wife or a cougar. And I'm none of those things. So I wanted to examine that."
Ultimately, the "Police Academy" actress was thankful that she has enjoyed such a long run in Hollywood since she always assumed that the "best thing" for her life "would be being an actress that worked."
The Screen Actors Guild Recipient Confirmed Her Return To 'Sex and the City' Spinoff
Speculation that Cattrall reprising her role as the greedy Samantha Jones on "And Just Like That" โ the HBO reboot of "Sex and the City" โ began at the end of last month. Per The Blast, it was initially reported that her character would make a "cliffhanger" cameo during the show's second-season finale.
She then confirmed the shocking return through a June 1 Instagram post, captioned "Happy Pride ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐." Her fans and celebrities immediately received the news, including momager Kris Jenner who wrote in the comment section, "FABULOUS!!!!!! ๐๐งกโค๏ธ.โ
Journalist Katie Couric typed, "YES QUEEEEEN ๐๐๐๐๐," and podcast host, Danny Pellegrino, commented, "โค๏ธ๐ thank you!!!!" Public relations executive Simon Huck exclaimed, "NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!!!," while actress Dylan Mulvaney claimed, "I cried the happiest tears."
As for her fans, one penned, "She's an icon, a legend, and she is the moment. I mean, come on now." Another pointed out, "You know your going to break the internet AGAIN!"
"Now, this is what it means to be a professional and take the high road !! Can't wait!" a third fan chimed, as a fourth effused, "You had such levels and complexities to your character, and you always inspired me. Thanks for this gift."
Amid the excitement, it was shared that Cattrall will have just one scene, which was filmed on March 22. She successfully turned her dialogue in without speaking to or seeing her former co-stars, Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP), and Cynthia Nixon, thanks to their supposed volatile relationship.
Evidence of the volatility was seen during a 2017 interview where the Golden Globe winner directed some poignant remarks toward SJP, the drama series, and her future as Samantha Jones.
