Opening up to her fans on Instagram on Sunday, the 37-year-old model shared the astonishing events that unfolded over the past 24 hours after taking the 23 and Me test to discover her DNA heritage.

"As some of you know, I've been on a bit of a journey for the past few years, especially the past year, of health and wellness, trying to figure out a lot about my past and my family and just typical stuff we're all curious about," she shared, per Daily Mail.

Eager to unveil her DNA heritage, Chrissy explained that she had already taken a 23 and Me test to understand her genetic makeup. She decided to invest in additional features offered by the test, which included notifications regarding potential health risks—a choice that her therapist and doctor supported.

Upon receiving the results, Chrissy was confronted with an astonishing claim that left her utterly flabbergasted. "The first thing that came up, after I discovered I was part Neanderthal was this. I have an identical twin," she exclaimed.

Driven by curiosity, the renowned influencer reached out to her supposed identical twin after sending a message to 23andMe, the genetic testing company. "Like talking to a robot like it's not a robot," she remarked about her interaction with her newfound twin.

Feeling overwhelmed, the former swimsuit model confided, "Honestly, at this point, I'm spiraling." She sought solace by reaching out to her doctor, hoping for some clarity amid the chaos.

Unable to contain her confusion, Chrissy shared that she dialed her father's number, eagerly asking, "Dad, hey, did you see me come out of Mom's vagina and were there two of me?"'

"At this point," she confessed, "I'm making excuses for my whole life. This is why I'm codependent because my twin was ripped away from me. I've always felt something is missing, and this is why I have addiction issues."
