Eva Longoria Gushes About 'Inseparable' Bond With BFF Victoria Beckham

Eva Longoria is opening up about her unique bond with one of her industry BFFs, Victoria Beckham.

Despite being in different sectors of the entertainment industry, the two powerhouses formed an unlikely bond during the early stages of their career, which has remained steadfast for over two decades.

Now, the "Desperate Housewives" alum is giving fans insight into the deep connection she shares with British designer and how they keep their friendship thriving amid their busy lives.

During a recent interview with The Times, Longoria was candid about her friendship with Beckham and how it has thrived for so long. Discussing how alike they are, the actress told the outlet, "We are peas in a pod."

While many might know the Spice Girls alum as a fierce powerhouse designer and singer, who is married to one of the most prominent soccer players in the world, David Beckhman, the "Flamin Hot" star, wants the world to know there is more to her best friend.

"I wish people knew how funny and charming and smart Victoria is," she expressed. "She's the funniest person. I think she's an introvert, but she's an extrovert with me. We are inseparable."

She explained that although they met through her ex-husband Tony Parker, they formed a bond of their own after the Beckhams relocated to Los Angeles, giving them more time to hang out. As they got closer, they would plan to meet up anywhere in the world where their careers took them from London to Paris.

Longoria heartily recalled, "We have sleepovers all the time, mostly at their farmhouse or in London. We usually just blab all night." Shedding light on why she is particularly fond of Posh Spice, the "Devious Maids" alum shared:

"She’s extremely loyal. There’s never a moment I can’t call her, that she’s not available, that she’s not flying to see me, or I’m flying to see her. Or I’m raiding her closet. She gives me motherly advice and business advice."

Discussing a monumental point in their friendship where the mother-of-four took on the task of designing Longoria's wedding dress for her nuptials to producer José Bastón, the California State University alum said, "She did my civil outfit, my wedding dress, and the after-party dress."

She continued, "She brought everything — she literally carried it with her. Please put it on me, buckled my shoes because I couldn't bend down, and zipped up my dress when I got drunk. She was like, 'I know my role.' She is that best friend."

Longoria paid back the favor when Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn Beckham tied the knot with his love Nicola Peltz in 2022, and they donned "coordinating dresses." The "Frontera" actress is also the godmother to the youngest Beckham daughter Harper whom she describes as a "sweet, beautiful, kind young lady."

Despite being in their late 40s with an array of resources in their hands, the best friends still behave like teenagers, going into each other's closets when looking for outfits. "I just go into her closet normally and go, 'I need a dress,'" Longoria divulged. "She's like, 'Do you like the black or the green?' And I say, 'Black.' She goes, 'Great. Green.'"

Fans witnessed the undeniable bond between both women earlier this year when they marked their birthdays. Longoria was first serenaded when she turned 48 in March, and Beckham took to social media to shower her with praises.

The Essex native shared a heartwarming montage taking fans down memory lane of the dynamic duo's sweet moments while the song "Say You'll Be There" by Spice Girls played in the background. "Happy Birthday, @evalongoria! Thank you for being an incredible friend, godmother to #HarperSeven, inspiration, and partner in crime! We love you so much! Kisses xx," she wrote in the accompanying caption.

For Beckham's 49th birthday in April, Longoria didn't hesitate to give her a doting shout-out on Instagram with a sweet photo of them in a warm embrace. "Happy birthday to the most beautiful best friend, @victoriabeckham! You are one of the most special humans out there, and I'm so happy you're in our lives! Love you, babe! ?," she declared.
