Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylorare loving being back on screen. So much so that a return to Vanderpump Rules could be their next move.
Brittany Cartwright Is Ready To SURve Again
The new mom of one has not been on Vanderpump Rules in several years but since being back on TV with her husband, critiquing their former co-stars on a pillow talk-type show, she admits she misses it a little bit!
“We’re definitely getting the itch ‘cause it was fun to have the cameras over and have crew over,” said the 34-year-old to Us Weekly. Cartwright was speaking with the publication to promote her collaboration with Cupshe BeMe: The Cupshe Birthday Collection.
“Going through that whole lifestyle again was so fun. Like, when we did Watch What Happens Live [With Andy Cohen], I got a little teary backstage ‘cause this was such a big part of my life for six years basically — and for Jax, like, nine. So, it just felt really good to do those things again.”
Jax & Brittany Treated Peacock Subscribers
The couple announced back in April that Peacock subscribers were going to be treated to a special show among the Scandoval drama that will focus on the Kentucky native and her former model beau watching and reacting to the latest episodes.
Whether you love Taylor or not, you surely love Cartwright and fans loved hearing that southern accent tell Tom Sandoval to “Rawt in hell” in defense of Ariana Madix his recent ex of nine years.
The couple has been making the podcast rounds appearing on their former co-stars shows like Scheana Shay’s “Shenanigans” and Lala Kent’s “Give Them Lala”. They have even discussed it on their own podcast, “When Reality Hits”.
Leaving Reality TV Saved Them
This decision does not come lightly when the couple left the show, their marriage was rocky. Taylor was obsessed with working out just so he could get out of the house and away from Cartwright.
“Jax was kind of going through this phase where he was getting a lot of anxiety and stuff and I was too,” she shared with Us Weekly. “It can be tough to have everything judged and you know, have to relive things years later and or you know, months later, whenever it airs.”
Cartwright and Taylor eventually worked through the rough patch, but it was hard. Leaving the show was a crucial part of that. While fans were not able to experience pregnant Brittany on TV, she allowed them to follow along on Instagram.
Brittany Cartwright & Jax Taylor Are Ready
The couple is realizing now, the goldmine they were sitting on with a show like Vanderpump Rules and have admitted that they wouldn’t be so quick to turn down another opportunity.
“So, we look back now and Jax’s always like, ‘I took a lot of things for granted. I can look back and learn from my mistakes and, like, grow from there.’”
She continues. “I feel like us having that break, especially going through COVID, being pregnant, postpartum, all of that stuff, I’m so glad I didn’t have to deal with that on-camera.”
And while that “itch” is there to return, she says. “I don’t know, we’ll see.”
