During a recent appearance on the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast, Raven-Symoné reflected on her dating experience. The actress revealed to Mandel that she made every single partner she's ever had sign an NDA before or during their relationship. An NDA is a non-disclosure agreement to ensure privacy, especially for celebrities.

She said, per Page Six, "All of my relationships, especially – obviously – when I started dating, I had to get people to sign NDAs. It took me a while to wrap my head around it because it's very impersonal, but someone in our position needs to do that."

Mandel then asked Symoné when she precisely presented the NDA documents in the relationship timeline. The "That's So Raven" star responded, "Before the naughty times come. No, I'm serious — right before the naughty time comes. Welcome to being a celebrity in Hollywood nowadays."

Symoné added, "It's true though nowadays, hashtags, real life, they change the dynamic of having an intimate relationship with somebody." Many celebrities are known for their use of NDAs, both in relationships and business, like Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise, and Mariah Carey.

During her conversation with Mandel, Symoné also recalled when she had to ask Pearman-Maday to sign the NDA. The actress said she waited almost two months into their relationship and finally presented her now-wife with the papers.

She said, "We were in New York. We were in this outdoor French restaurant, and my mom had been bugging me. She was like, 'You got to get it signed. I'm like, 'She's from the industry.' And my mom was bugging me. I was reluctant because I knew something was different about Miranda."

According to Symoné, Pearman-Maday felt the same way and was reluctant to sign the agreement. She agreed they had "something different" but eventually signed because she knew it was out of their hands. Symoné said, "We both were like, 'This takes away the genuineness of it all, but we also understood that we live in Hollywood."
