The judge in Tekashi69's criminal case says his decision to keep the rapper behind bars is because he is such a danger to the community that even keeping him on home confinement is too risky.

According to the order of detention for the hip-hop star, obtained by The Blast, the judge says Tekashi is too dangerous to be let out into the community. He used the examples of Tekashi's alleged participation in the robbery, and the recovery of stolen items and a firearm from his apartment to back up the claims.

The judge admits the home confinement proposed by Tekashi's attorney are "substantial," but says they don't address the fact that the rapper is dangerous and "would still be able to direct acts of violence by telephone."

It sounds like the judge is well aware of Tekashi's social media habits and proclivity for constantly using his cell phone, and he admits there is no way to track everything the rapper does if given full access to cellular technology.

For now, Tekashi remains behind bars locked up in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center and facing life in prison.
