Serena Williams is serving bumps and booty!
Nearly one month after she and her husband, Alexis Ohanian Snr, announced they are expecting their second child on the red carpet of the 2023 Met Gala, Williams has shown off her growing baby bump. The tennis legend stunned in a black outfit while on a luxurious vacation in Italy, and she shared the delectable view with her 16.6 million followers on social media.
Serena Williams' Derrière Brought The Boys To The Yard
Williams was the cynosure of all eyes when she donned a long, black maternity dress, which hugged every curve of her body, including her bump and derrière. The mother-of-one paired the sleeveless fit with a simple silver necklace, a black wristwatch, one bangle, and pink heels.
Judging by the seats, floral decor, and altar behind her, the 41-year-old appeared to be at a wedding venue. Views of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale alum facing the camera and standing in the profile can be seen in the pair of photos that she posted to Instagram almost 18 hours ago, with a hilarious caption that read:
"CAUTION: Things are not always how they appear. I am Seriously trying to figure out if the baby is in the front or….back. … slide right #summer #italy #vacation.”
Her husband was the first to agree with her joke, writing in the comment section, "This kid somehow kicks more than Olympia. It's everywhere 🤪." "Hahahahaha is dying lol," Khloe Kardashian wrote, as this fan told Williams, "Girl... you've always had back. Embrace it 🙂 The baby is in the front."
Another fan chimed, "Clearly the baby is wherever it wants to be!" and a third joked, "Baby got back!!" Meanwhile, this netizen had advice for onlookers like her, "Before we all start on the next baby hoping for this, it should be known results may vary! 🔥😍😮💨.”
Williams last received this infectiously joyous response a couple of weeks ago when she teased fans with a potential list of baby names. The Blast noted that the Happy Viking founder uploaded a clip to TikTok, where she rattled off a handful of Disney-inspired names that she considered naming her yet-to-be baby. The retired tennis star began:
"Good Morning. I was thinking about; I don't know the gender; I don't know if we're having a girl or a boy. So, I'm thinking about some names, and I was like, maybe I should do something with my favorite Disney characters because I love Disney, and as you know, I'm like their biggest fan."
"So, if it's a girl, it could be like Maleficent, [Maleficent], that's how you say it? Scar, if it's a boy, love Scar; misunderstood a little bit. What else? Gaston. How could I forget Gaston? Ursula,[is a] classic, got to love Ursula. Lady Gothel, maybe I can call her Lady Gothel if it's a girl," the Clubhouse investor continued. She wrapped up by stating that she just "went through these names," adding that she was "onto something."
The 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Voice Actress Kept Her Pregnancy Hidden From Her Daughter
The chief brand officer of Asutra shared with her fans and followers that her daughter, Olympia Alexis, was unaware of her pregnancy until hours before the Met Gala. She dropped the tidbit in a video that she began by recalling all the special moments from taking the pregnancy test until she arrived at the event.
Williams then explained that she was unveiling her second pregnancy at the New York fashion show, clarifying that she would inform Olympia before leaving for the occasion due to the latter's loose lips. In the words of the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" guest star:
"Olympia does not know right now that I am pregnant. So, the big reveal would be at the M.E.T, and then before we leave, I'll tell Olympia. The reason I haven't told her is 'cause; she can't keep a secret."
As she made that declaration, the screen showed a view of the expectant mother and her beau telling their toddler she was about to be a big sister. Olympia's reaction was one for the books as she gave her mom a wholesome hug, and fans gushed as much in the comment section.
