Lisa Rinna Was 'Guided' By her Deceased Mother To Quit 'RHOBH'

Lisa Rinna shared that her late mom Lois came to her in a dream with excellent advice about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Rinna shared the spooky story that led to her leaving the popular show with ES magazine. "She came to me," Rinna recalled. "It's so wild because half the world will believe this, half the world will say: 'That's so weird.' I was sleeping, and I heard her say to me: 'It's time for you to go.'"

Rinna thought she was going crazy until she visited a psychic who confirmed her dream and the message.

"I told a psychic, and she said, 'Oh yeah, she's come to me and told me that. She wants you to be happy and follow your dream, but she says it's time for you to go.' I've never told anybody that except for the psychic. I'm guided by my mom, for sure."

Rinna ended up leaving, but the actress had a tough time deciding. "who wants to leave a job?" she said. Fans of the show know that Rinna loves a check and has done a few things that not many would, including a Depends commercial.

By the time Rinna left the show, she was on bad terms with many fans. "I think the world itself has gotten so volatile that the response doesn't match what we're doing," she said of the vicious attacks that came her way.

"I didn't want to live like that. I don't think that's healthy. The way the fan base reacts to the show now is not how it was when I started."

The former housewife said she exited the show at the perfect time because fans were becoming violent. "We were getting death threats," she exclaimed.

Rinna continued. "Some of the most horrible things I've ever seen in print, and it's a reality show! It's a stupid show! I thought: "It's time to go." I'm not sure how much longer that can exist in the zeitgeist."

She exited the show after eight seasons to mixed receptions from fans who couldn't agree on if Rinna's behavior in her last season was warranted to just nuts! She announced that she was moving on from the show earlier this season.

Rinna reminisced on the longevity of her career as a housewife before officially signing off. "This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series," she wrote.

"It has been a fun eight-year run, and I am excited about what will come!" Some of Rinna's co-stars were happy to see her go after torturing them all season long with her behavior. Kathy Hilton had a contentious relationship with Rinna.

Hilton said of Rinna at the reunion, saying, "You're the biggest bully in Hollywood, and everyone knows it." RHOBH has started filming again after a longer-than-normal break. Fans are anxious to see the show without the former Soap Opera star's presence.
